German tuner JE Design will be bringing their Seat Leon FR to the Essen Motor Show. The engineers increased power on both engine variants, while adding a series of interior and exterior mods.
No mechanical enhancements were made to either engine, but by adjusting the control units, the engineering team squeezed 270 horsepower on the TSFI, and 204 horsepower to the TDI. This is up from 211 and 170 hp. Torque is also increased significantly on both vehicles, with a 75 Nm increase to 355 Nm on the petrol, and 30 Nm to 380 Nm on the diesel.
Aerodynamically, the car gets a double-lipped front spoiler, side skirts, rear skirt, and center diffuser. In front, new headlights and LED daytime runners can be seen. At back. a quad-pipe exhaust is spotted.
All of the mods helped the TFSI-engined car get from 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds. The TDI hits 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.
Other changes include new springs that lower the car by 35 mm, and adjustable coilover suspension. Polished, multispoke 19-inch sport wheels rounds out the exterior package. New wing doors lead the way to heated leather massage seats, leather door liner & armrest, steering wheel, shifter, and handbrake cuff.
