Superchips has just unveiled its phase 2 ECU remap for the turbocharged 1.6-litre, 181 bhp engine in the the R56 MINI Cooper S (produced from 1st March 2010 onwards). Given the high demand for customisation parts for forced-induction hothatches, the British tuning specialist's in-house engineers were very enthusiastic to see what additional performance could be safely extracted from the Cooper S's direct injection turbocharged powerplant.
