Ladies and gentlemen, the run-up to the 2011 SEMA show this November is on its last two weeks and we’re already getting a lot of fresh reveals leading up to it. Oddly enough, a lot of what we’ve been getting over the past few days have centered around projects on a certain Korean automaker - that being Hyundai. The latest project to come out of the shops and into the stage comes from no less than Enjuku Racing.
For those who don’t know, Enjuku Racing is more popularly known for their participation in Formula Drift, but they also have the find hands for aftermarket projects, which is exactly what they did to this Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
The SEMA-bound Genesis Coupe is being fitted with a room full of new elements, including a modified chassis, BC Racing BR-Type coilovers, custom headers, a new exhaust system, and a set of 19" BC Racing TA02 wheels. Most importantly, Enjuku Racing transplanted supercharged LS1 powertrain to take the place of the Genesis Coupe?s existing all-aluminum, 306-horsepower, DOHC 3.8-liter V6 engine.[...]
