The Ferrari 599 has been making a lot of news lately, particularly as far as its eventual successor is concerned. Now that the supercar is on its last legs, Ferrari has decided to roll out a number of special edition models, including the 599XX Evolution and the GTB HGTE 60F1. Now, before the 599 get its swan song, German tuning company Wheelsandmore has prepared a send-off program for the Italian exotic. And true to their reputation as one of the best in the business, Wheelsandmore knocked this one out of the park.
Dressed in a spectacular Yellow and Black finish, the 599 GTO was given a new set of 21" three-piece handcrafted 6Sporz² ultralight forged wheels that bear the same colors as that of its body and are then wrapped in Hankook S1Evo tires. What this does is lift the front axle up around 1.18" to allow the 599 GTO to clear any sort of road obstacles or steep gateways that would otherwise mess up the car’s set-up.
Finally, there’s the performance upgrade, which is really the heart of Wheelsandmore’s entire program for the 599 GTO. Thanks to a remapped ECU and new handcrafted stainless steel exhausts with remote-able valve flaps, Wheelsandmore successfully added more power to the supercar’s monstrous V12 engine. From the standard output of 670 horsepower and 457 lb/ft of torque, the 599 GTO now boasts of a spanking 715 horsepower and 490 lb/ft of torque.[...]
