Some might say that I burn the Mk VI a lot, but that's just because it never managed to change the game like its predecessor did. Think about it for a second - when the model was first shown in 2003 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, it blew just about every other hot hatch out of the water. DSG, a good sound system, a discrete but muscular body, you could have anything with the Mk V. These days, you can pick up a used one for under €10,000 and it's still a decent motor.
