German tuner, Brabus, has made a living building ridiculous engine modifications with some of their past Mercedes programs and it’s only fitting that they’re following all that up with yet another mind-boggling project.
The lucky Mercedes to get the latest Brabus treatment is the new Mercedes C-Class Coupe. Called the Brabus Bullit Coupe, the C-Class comes dressed to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show party with a slick matte black finish that only underscores the monstrous V12 engine under its belly.
Talking about that V12 engine, we know that Brabus has never been shy when it comes to engine tweaks and thanks to their colossal turbocharged V12 engine, the lively and spunky C-Class now boasts of an insane 800 horsepower and 1,047 lb/ft of torque. To ensure that the car’s transmission doesn’t go out of whack, Brabus is limiting the car to "just" 811 lb/ft of torque, which is still mighty impressive in its own right.[...]
