German tuner, Geiger Cars, seems to be quite passionate about American muscle cars from Dodge, so after doing some great modifications on the Challenger, they have now turned their attention to the Charger SRT8. Their new package updates the exterior and provides some power and handling adjustments.
The Charger SRT8 has been criticized by many for not being great in corners, so the first thing Geiger did was add a new set of professional springs and dampers. Combined with a new set of 22" wheels painted in matte black, this package will lower the car’s ride and improve its handling capabilities.
The next step was the addition of a compressor kit that significantly improved the 6.4 liter V8 HEMI’s engine. This allows the Charger SRT8 to deliver an amazing 625 HP - up from the standard 465 HP. Nothing was said in terms of how these changes affected the car’s performance, but we’re expecting a top speed greater than the standard 175 mph.[...]
