The Ohio-based tuner, Switzer Performance Innovations (SPI) proves that they have more than one tuning trick up their sleeves introduced a milder performance upgrade for the Tiptronic-equipped 911s besides their previous 1,000hp bolt-on package for the Porsche 911 Turbo.The new tuning package, called L4 700/750, is flexible enough for daily driving and was really intended to attract a wider customer base. On top of a regular 997 Porsche 911 Turbo SPI added its own bespoke DME software, two upgraded variable-turbine-geometry V3 turbochargers, fresh intercoolers and race-style full exhaust system. The consequence of all these upgrades is a sprint rate of 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, quarter-mile crossing in the mid-to-high 10 second level, with top speed in excess of 200 mph. The basic package costs $18,450.
