This is without doubt one of the coolest kits we’ve ever seen on a Corvette C6! It’s a creation of Specter Werkes for 2009 SEMA show and every bit of it is magnificent. Let’s cut to the chase: The C6 GTR features a full Specter body kit, an 800hp Lingenfelter and it also has HRE carbon fiber wheels. Honestly it is as good as a Corvette can get!
The car’s spectacularly aggressive body is more than just a body kit, it’s a facelift! It has new front and rear aprons with new bumpers, massively flared arches and a whole new design for the rear-end compartment with a pair of odd-looking and huge exhaust pipes. All of the parts are made of carbon fiber and the body is painted in BASF Pearl Blue except for the rear fascia which is done in mate black. This kit is also available for other models of Corvette, the Zo6 and ZR1 both coupes and convertibles.
The Lingenfelter part is also equally amazing. They have provided this car with a modified version of GM’s 7.0-liter LS7 engine which is twin-charged and gives an incredible 800 hp! After all that scary look needed such a powerful punch to support it!
