At first glance, the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG tuned by Mansory is amazingly cool. At least that's what we though when we first showed you the car yesterday. However, thanks to a video taken in Geneva by Alexsmolik, we found a chink in the armor. That really cool exhaust is actually fake, hiding the real thing behind it, while the overall fit and finish is hard to pull of when you combine carbon fiber parts and stock panels.

APR, an US tuner that likes to play with cars belonging to the VW Group, has recently released a new project, with the base car this time being an Audi TT-RS. The aftermarket developer has created an ECU remap for the vehicle, bragging that its program is the best power per dollar modification for the new 2.5 TFSI.

It’s been a while since we last heard anything about the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, but a tuning firm has picked it up anyway with the intention of jazzing it up a but. Italian tuning firm, Auto Avio Costruzioni - under the coordination of Laurent Miller - has developed a very impressive tuning kit for the Italian hatchback. In fact, this a one-off kit priced at ?40,000 or about $53,000 at the current exchange rates. Guess even hatchback owners have to pay for exclusivity.

The first thing the tuning company did was douse the subcompact car with a unique two-tone paint job that combines dark-grey for the lower body with a Lamborghini-sourced "White Ballon" pearl paint for the upper part of the body, as well as the wheels.

Under the hood, the car’s standard 1750 TBi turbocharged four-cylinder engine has been tuned to deliver a total of 270 HP and 284 lb-ft of torque (up from the standard 235 HP and 250 lb-ft). The Giulietta was also fixed up with a KW suspension that allows the driver to choose between multiple settings.[...]

Alabama-based tuning company APR has made a nice reputation for being one of the best Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen tuners in the States. For their latest offering, they’ve created an ECU upgrade for the all-new Audi TT RS.

While the TT-RS already sports a pretty impressive 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 340 horsepower and 332 lb/ft of torque. Feeling the need to increase the Audi sports coupe’s power, APR prepared the Stage 1 ECU modification pack that significantly raises the TT-RS’ power to a sweet 414 horsepower and 430 lb/ft of torque.

Best of all, APR is only charging $899 for the program, which, according to them, is the ?the best power per dollar modification for the new 2.5 TFSI.?[...]

One of our favorite parts of any auto show is seeing what the aftermarket industry has done to some of the finest vehicles in the world. At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, we were completely floored by all the programs being displayed.
