Rolls-Royce Ghost by Vorsteiner

Tuner extraordinaire, Vorsteiner, recently prepared a program for the Bentley Continental GT, leading some people to think that the tuner was favoring Bentley in the luxury car market. Well, you can put all those "bias" questions aside because they’ve come back with a separate program for the Continental’s chief nemesis, the Rolls-Royce Ghost.

We certainly have no objections to Vorsteiner’s interest in these two British luxury cars, especially when they have developed a package that maintains the Ghost’s luxury style while also adding functionality to compliment the car’s impressive performance credentials.

For starters, the front end of the Ghost was given a new add-on spoiler to go with a replaceable GT center chin splitter. The changes look subtle aesthetically, but it does add a touch of sportiness to the car’s front profile. From there, Vorsteiner also added new side skirts and blade attachments, as well as integrating wing elements that further add even more aerodynamic enhancements through additional downforce. Over at the rear, you’ll find a new carbon fiber rear deckled spoiler, as well as an add-on rear diffuser, which incidentally, comes with integrated aero fins. All these materials are made of Autoclave pre-preg carbon fiber technology, ensuring that whatever Vorsteiner puts in the Ghost is as strong and durable as any material in the market.[...]

Lamborghini Gallardo by Heffner Performance

We don’t hear a lot about Heffner Performance, but when these guys do hit the news, they certainly know how to make some serious noise, even more so when folks like ZR Auto take their hands on one and re-build a mouth-watering Lamborghini Gallardo to insane levels.

This particular Gallardo actually had some mileage under it with a Heffner twin-turbo system already installed. But the owner apparently has some insatiable thirst for more power so he sent the car back to be given even more juice. Working with ZR Auto, the owner wanted to get a new motor because the original OEM fuel injectors and stock bumps have been used to oblivion, resulting in a number of burnt cylinders.

The Gallardo was disassembled and freshened up with a new motor as the OEM fuel injectors and stock pumps had become clogged which resulted in multiple burnt cylinders.[...]

BMW M5 by G-Power

If you ask us the new BMW M5 is one of the few cars that needs no updates, but it seems the German tuner G-Power does not agree. They have started to update the new BMW M5 sports sedan and of course that they have started with a Stage I upgrade that will increase the power up to a total of 640 HP.

The package includes a G-Power Bi-Tronik III that will increase the power from the standard 560 HP to a total of 640 HP and 573 lbs-ft of torque. As a result the sprint from 0 to 60 mph will be made in 3,9 seconds and to 124 mph in 11,9 seconds.

Of course no changes have been made for the exterior, but the tuner opted to add a new set of 21" alloy wheels plus a new coil-over suspension, stainless steel sport rear muffler and a new Ceramic brake system completed by brake pads with a larger pad area, higher friction rate as well as metal-coated brake lines.[...]

Stock Ferrari 458 and Audi RS6Any new Ferrari model is fast, but in today's world, the Prancing Horse brand is not the only automaker building rockets on wheels.

Of course, there are various definitions of fast (top speed, acceleration, circuit laps etc) but in this video we have a stock Ferrari 458 Italia with 570-ponies under its mid-mounted bonnet taking on three tuned models, including a 750HP Audi RS6 Evotech, a 600HP Nissan GT-R AMS and a 750HP Corvette ZR1 C6 Lingenfelter, on a 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) run.[...]

G-POWER 2012 BMW M5 G-Power, the maker of some of the fastest and meanest tuned BMW models around, has presented its first take on the brand-new 2012 M5 sedan [F10].

At the heart of G-Power's tune is BMW's 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that normally produces 560-horsepower and a peak torque of 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) from 1,500 rpm.

After the German company's engineers update the ECU and add a new custom exhaust system, the V8's output is lifted to 640-horsepower and 777Nm (573 lb-ft).[...]

How Not To Lower Your Car
A thread on StanceWorks — the popular forum for lowered and hellaflush cars — began with a proud 2001 Honda Civic owner showing off his trunk-rattling sound system and slammed car. Then forum members quickly discovered how he lowered the car. As you can see, it's the kind of horrific DIY engineering that makes you want to scream, "You're doing it wrong!" [...]

BMW M5 G-PowerG-Power, a tuner that has an obsession with taking BMWs to ridiculously cool power levels, has targeted the 2012 M5 and, after two months of work, is now releasing its Stage 1 package for the vehicle.

The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 unit has been boosted to 640 hp and 780 Nm, which means that it develops an extra 80 hp and 100 Nm compared to the stock setup. Thanks to the addition of a stainless steel exhaust system, the engine now also has a deeper growl. In addition to that, G-Power has removed... [...]
