The Toyota GT 86 is an ideal basis for a tuning project (together with its Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S siblings), so a lot of tuners are preparing to give the world their takes on the coupe.

BMW has recently launched the eagerly-anticipated M6 and the car now has a lot to do. One of the most important things on its list is to serve as a basis for the greedy tuners and their customers, who will always want something different.

Back at last month’s Tokyo Auto Salon, Toyota unveiled a number of GT 86 variants that made our heads spin.

Now, we’re being treated to another program for the Japanese sports car, this time courtesy of Japanese tuning firm, TOMS. As part of the program for the fabulous 86, TOMS built and designed an aerodynamic program that consists of a new carbon fiber front spoiler, a new rear spoiler, a pretty intense quad exhaust system, a plethora of brake chambers, a mechanical processor for the aforementioned exhaust system, and a new set of aluminum wheels that improves on the Japanese sports car’s already aggressive stance.

According to TOMS, their aero program can also serve as a supplementary kit for any of the other 86 kits being prepared by TRD, Modellista, or GRMN. Sharing is caring, right?[...]

Albeit a little late to the party as Renault and Lotus parted ways in F1 at the end of 2011, German tuning firm of all things related to the Renault Group, Elia, has presented a Formula 1-themed version of the Renault Wind.

The small French roadster is dressed in the former Lotus Renault GP team's colors with decorative livery placed throughout the body of the car.[...]

ABT Sportsline is the biggest provider of aftermarket parts for VW Group vehicles, and while some might say they are being repetitive, they are also consistent and thorough about tuning everything to come out of a VW or Audi factory.

Now, they've teased the new projects that will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. The tuner plan on unveiling four new upgraded cars there from both VW and Audi, namely the Beetle, UP, Q3 and A6.

A preview of a tuning package from the Aston Martin Cygnet recently came from the UK and now it is time to give you the full development, which comes from Kahn. The British tuner has fitted the city car a stainless steel quad exhaust system, which uses cross hair tips, as well as with a set of RS Kahn wheels, which come in a 17-inch size for the front axle and 18-inch for the the rear. These can be ordered in any color and keep the stock center caps.

There are plenty of reasons not to buy into Aston Martin's cover up of the Toyota iQ, but if you have already paid twice or perhaps even three times as much for a cooler grille and a luxed up interior and still aren?t happy about the way the Cygnet looks and sounds, Project Kahn has some select upgrades for you.

On the outside, the British tuner fits the Cygnet with its own alloy wheels that are available in various colors (size 17-in. up front and 18-in. at the back), a new set of brake calipers finished in heat resistant paint, again in whatever color the customer wants, and bespoke exhaust tail pipes.[...]

Nissan is now reaching over to the same crowd to help create the ultimate Z car with the launch of "Project Z" that was announced today at the Chicago Auto Show where the Japanese company also unveiled the de-fanged 2013MY 370Z facelift.

Last year SR Auto Group has unveiled a pretty cool tuning kit based on the Ferrari 458 Italia called Project Zeus. This year the tuner turned their attention back to the 458 Italia and they came up with an even cooler kit for it, this time called Project Era.

As you know, despite the fact that the 458 Italia is being offered in lots of colors, Rosso Corsa is just the perfect color for it, and this is the color used for project Era. Next to this SR is also using a new set of wheels in PUR 1NE design. The new wheels are painted either in silver finish combined with a unique blue sheen and are offered from twenty-one and twenty-two inches.

There are some cars that require a lot of work to stand out from the rest, but the 458 Italia is simply not a car like this. Just some minor modifications made it look amazing.[....]

Coinciding with the European market launch of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Class, Brabus has released its first tuning take on the small MPV. For the time being, the German tuner's offerings include upgrades for the exterior, interior and the chassis with the engine kits to become available later in the year.

On the outside, Brabus has prepared an aero kit that comprises a front spoiler that attaches directly to the front bumper and a rear apron housing a diffuser and the new quad tail pipes.[...]
