However, Kahn is now launching a set of wheels developed exclusively for the current Defender, with the 16-inch rims being perfectly suitable for the toughest off-road adventure. Kahn is also planning to release ... [...]

Ferrari 458 Italia by Kahn Design

A. Kahn Design ended 2011 with a bang in the shape of a tuning package for the Ferrari California, and it looks like they are starting 2012 in the same way with an upgrade package for the Ferrari 458 Italia. The Ferrari 458 Italia Editions were dressed up in either a triple Pearl White or a Rosso Corsa Red exterior paint finish, both combined with different exterior and interior elements.

The Rosso Corsa Red Ferrari 458 Italia by Kahn is toned down with a matte Pearl Gray finish for the roof, side skirts, and front and rear bumper sections. A. Holden ToranaTalk about a wolf in sheep's clothing. With a few exceptions like the sporty six-cylinder GTR XU1 and the 5.0-litre V8 powered SLR 5000 editions, the Holden Torana was a run-of-the mill compact model with plain Jane looks and lackluster performance.

But in the world of tuning and drag racing even the Torana can be transformed into a terrifying beast. Meet Jakes Edward's latest Torana sedan fitted with a massive 496ci (8.2-liter) turbocharged V8 Chevrolet engine that runs on methanol fuel.

At this month's Summernats festival in Canberra, Australia, Edward's yellow Holden took part and won the "Horsepower Heroes" competition as it yielded 1,584.5 wheel horsepower on the dyno! Watch the Aussie-made monster in the video after the break.[...]

Ferrari FF with E85 conversion

We aren’t exactly the biggest fans of Ferrari’s latest addition to their lineup, but this FF in particular may just be cool enough to change our mind. You see, the standard Ferrari FF works from a 6,262 cc direct injection V12 engine that delivers an impressive 660 HP at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 503 lbs-ft 6,000 rpm, which is fantastic for a car that looks like a stretched out wagon. That being said, Norwegian aftermarket developer, Customised.no, is upping that ante with a bio-ethanol (E85) conversion that will shoot up the power and kick back its emissions. Sounds intriguing.

The E85 conversion jump-starts the FF’s power output by taking it from 660 HP all the way to 875 HP! This newfound power will allow the sports coupe a 0-60 mph sprint time of less than three seconds, improved from the standard 3.7 seconds.

The conversion still doesn’t make the car any prettier, but it does reduce its emissions by about 80%, from the current 360g/km to 100g/km. Kind of impossible to believe considering this is still a Ferrari.[...]

Audi R8 Stretch LimoStretch limos based on supercars always tend to fall in the overkill category and the example from the adjacent photos is no exception. We are talking about a stretch limo based on the Audi R8, a vehicle that is being previewed by a British limo hire company.

Limo Broker is introducing the Audi R8 limo, a vehicle that can swallow up to eight passengers and uses the R8's 5.2-liter V10 engine, promising to offer a top speed of 196 mph (315 km/h) - allow us to take this one with a grain of salt,... [...]

RENNtech SLR McLarenRENNtech is the basically as dedicated as you can get to creating custom Mercedes that go really fast, though they sometimes play with BMWs or Porsches as well. And while they do make anything from adaptive suspension to a full exhaust for the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren, there isn't an invisible trunk option on the market as far as we know.

Before you burn us for getting it wrong, this video does not show an actual record-setting run, only the car that hold the title. But with a quarter mile r... [...]
