Mansory Aston Martin DBS by DartzNo, we're not reporting on an actual joint effort between the warp division of Dartz and tuners Mansory, though that would be pretty interesting. We're pretty sure that somebody will call wrapping car the work of the devil or something like that, but we're pretty sure this is the biggest new trend in a long time.

The Aston Martin DBS kit by Mansory you see here has changed the appearance of the car by adding cosmetic touches, like a full body kit and some new wheels. The interior has also bee...[...]

Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 by Reiter Engineering

We’ve see a number of iterations of this race-spec Lamborghini Gallardo in the past courtesy of Reiter Engineering. On the heels of what amounted to as a hugely successful year for the 2011 Gallardo LP600+ GT3, Reiter is back with fresh improvements for the 2012 model that seeks to improve the car’s endurance capabilities, on top of its already dominating racing credentials.

For the 2012 model, Hans Reiter is looking into expanding the race car’s abilities into a full-fledged 24-hour racer. "We’ve already proved that the Gallardo is a safe and fast car in sprint format races," he said.

"Now we want to be successful at long distance races too. Our aim is, to have a reliable 24-hour race car, which is able to win."

Putting all their racing experience and know-how to good use, Reiter fitted the LP600+ GT3 with a bevy of new aerodynamic and performance parts, including a new 2012 Holinger gearbox that’s not only lighter in weight, but also possesses a more direct and precise shifting process. Reiter also added a bigger spliter and double dive plates at the front, providing more downforce for the car while suspension brackets, spring pairings and an AP Racing brake system are all expected to be added despite still being in the testing and development phase.[...]

This surely isn’t the first time we’ve seen one car chasing another in a tunnel, after all, we just witnessed a Ferrari 458 chasing a McLaren MP4-12C recently. But this time it’s a Lamborghini Murcielago going up against a 2012 Nissan GT-R.

The best part of this video is that both of the supercars showcased were updated so both sound that much better. The Murcielago received an aftermarket exhaust and the GT-R - a Black Edition - has received a Kreissieg exhaust system.

Our advice would be to turn up your volume - really loud - and enjoy this amazing video. It’s really worth it, even if it’s a little on the short side because it gives us more proof that there are some pretty amazing cars, even if we probably won’t ever get the chance to drive them.[...]

Audi Q7 S-Line by Je Design

Audi is currently working on the second generation Q7 - it will be unveiled sometime in 2013 - but until then, there are some tuners that have found new ideas on how to improve the current model. One example of such a tuner is Je Design, who is offering a new tuning kit with both exterior and interior upgrades, as well as a power increase.

The Q7 tuning package is based on the S-Line model and adds an even sportier feel to the SUV. It includes new high-class wheel arches that increase the SUV’s width by 30 millimeters per side at the front and 40 millimeters per side at the rear. The German tuner is also offering front-spoiler corners, a Park Distance Control rear-apron extension, two Je Design double-tailpipe covers, and a dynamic roof wing with side covers above the C pillars. The complete styling package is available for 7,438 euros, or about $9,624 at the current rates.

The final touch for the exterior of the Audi Q7 is a new set of single-part 10 x 22 inch SUV Select alloy wheel rims. The five-spoke design wheels are wrapped around fitted 295/30R22 tires and available in three different color schemes: matte-black, front silver matte/shadow silver, front polished/graphite matte, polished lip. Mercedes ML63 AMG by TopCar

Now that Mercedes has officially unveiled the high-powered 2012 ML63 AMG, the tuning birds have been circling the SUV to see who can make the first tuning program for it.

Now it appears the winner is Russian tuning firm, TopCar.

Wait, you didn’t just read TopCar, did you? Those boys who are known for Porsche and BMW programs are actually making one for a Mercedes?

Well, it appears that way after they released a few renderings of what their program for the new 2012 ML63 AMG is going to look like. The program, as you can see from these images, shows an extensive aerodynamic wide-body kit that includes a restyled front bumper fascia with LEDs, flared out fenders, side skirts, door skin panels, flared quarter panel wheel arches, and a new rear bumper fascia. All the materials, according to TopCar, are made entirely out of Kevlar and carbon fiber using vacuum molding technology, which only goes to show you that with all the technological elements used on the program, it probably won’t come cheap.[...]

Twin-Turbo C6 CorvetteNowadays, there are certain tuners that like to sell what we call drugs on wheels: twin-turbo aftermarket developments that take supercars to a sky-high performance level. We've been seeing more and more goodies of this kind and we're here to talk about one.

The adjacent clip (a new version of a previously-released one) brings us HighTechCorvette's 1,520 hp twin-turbo C6 Corvette, with the extreme tuned creation receiving a hammer treatment from 50 mph (80 km/h) to over 170 mph (274 km/h).

Mercedes SLS AMG by Senner Tuning

Since the official launch of the Mercedes SLS AMG, there’s been an endless number of tuning packages provided for the sports car, so it would only be appropriate to end the year with one more. The new package comes from Senner Tuning and, for a price of 19,500 euro (or about $25,500 at the current exchange rates), you can add an extra 35 HP to the 571 HP 6.2L V8 engine, a new set of wheels, and some extra goodies.

To achieve the extra power, Senner added a new high performance air filter kit and a new exhaust system with throttle control. The exhaust system is made from the finest stainless steel with an intelligent dynamic head control that together make up 15 HP of the 35 HP upgrade. The rest of the power is achieved through careful adjustment of the propulsion system. Altogether, the Mercedes SLS AMG by Senner Tuning can push out 606 HP.[...]

BMW 5-Series by Prior Design

German tuning firm, Prior Design, has become quite the specialist in outfitting high-end vehicles with impressive aerodynamic kits. Apparently, they’ve become so good at it that they’re releasing these programs one at a time at an increasingly frequent rate.

Prior Design’s latest project involves the new BMW 5-Series F10 sedan and true to form, they’ve done yet another remarkable job. As a whole, the program includes plenty of new carbon fiber additions, particularly the new front apron, which by the way comes with LED daytime running lights. There’s also a new integrated carbon fiber spoiler, sill extensions, a carbon fiber rear window spoiler, and a specially built diffuser insert that frames the 5er’s stainless steel quad tailpipes.

To top it all off, the BMW’s hood comes with a print design that we can only describe as a little bit "leopard-ish." We certainly don’t know how it fits into the whole program and the 5-Series’ stature as a luxury car, but if Prior Design wants to include it with their program, we certainly won’t question their credibility in that regard.[...]

Porsche 911 GT9 Club Sport by 9ff

A couple of years ago, 9ff, brought out a tuning package for the Porsche 911 that converted it to the wickedly fast GT9-R. Now, Papa’s got a brand new bag, and it’s fit for the track. The new model is called the GT9 Club Sport and can be had for a total of ?375,000, or about $490,000 at the current exchange rates.

Compared to the standard 9ff GT9 model, the Club Sport also benefited from a new front splitter, widened wheel arches, redesigned side sills, a new rear spoiler, and additional air vents added to the front fenders, upper and lower quarter panels, and roof. These additions get powered up by the lesser of the three GT9 upgrade packages that develops 740 HP and 731 lb-ft of torque out of the modified 3.6-liter 6-cylinder twin turbo engine. This boost will allow the GT9 Clubsport to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, on its way up to 124 mph after another 5.2 seconds (for a total of 8.8 seconds). Top speed goes up to 364 km/h (226mph).

Deceleration is aided by 345mm wide Michelin Cup tires and a ceramic brake system that uses 6-piston calipers with 380mm disks in the front and 4-piston calipers with 350mm at the rear. With this system, the modified Porsche can go from 186 mph to 0 in just 6.7 seconds.[....]
