Shelby is well known for tuning some of the fastest Mustangs on the planet, but the company founded by Mr. Carol himself also dabbles in trucks as well. Meet Shelby?s latest performance package for the 2011-2014 Ford F-150 Raptor.[...]

Half a century ago, Alpina was founded in the German city of Kaufbeuren. Originally a producer of typewriters, the company transitioned into the infinitely more interesting business of making fast BMWs, tweaking carburetors and cylinder heads instead of stringing ink ribbons. In the years that followed, Alpina would produce more than a few successful race cars, eventually moving on to concentrate primarily on street cars in the late ’80s.

To help celebrate its long history of hotrod Bimmers, Alpina has introduced the B6 Bi-Turbo Edition 50. Based on the BMW 6 Series coupe and convertible, Alpina laid its hands on just about every aspect of the stock car, with upgrades applied to the exterior styling, interior equipment, and of course, all those mechanical bits under the skin[...]

German-based car manufacturer Alpina has been making fast Bimmers since the 60s. It takes some of the best that BMW can offer and turns out performance-oriented, tuned-up vehicles laden with go-faster parts and extra luxury. Ctizens of the U.S., however, have had few opportunities for ownership.

It appears as though that?s gradually starting to change. The B6 xDrive Gran Coupe is Alpina?s take on the 6 Series Gran Coupe, BMW?s four-door styled as a two-door. This AWD rocket was first seen on American soil last year at the 2014 New York Auto Show, joining the 7 Series-based B7 for Alpina?s two American offerings.[...]

While the BMW X3 has been around since 2004, Alpina?s version of it, the XD3 Bi-Turbo, has been only been around since 2014. Like all other Alpina models, the XD3 is based on the production Bimmer, but with a handful of exterior and interior updates, and a nice power bump as well. For the 2015 model year, the XD3 inherits all of the styling updates of the 2015 X3.

Some people mistakenly consider Alpina a BMW tuner, when in fact it is its own automaker as recognized by the German Ministry of Transport. Additionally, Alpina and BMW actually work closely with one another, and many of Alpina?s manufacturing processes are built directly into BMW?s production line. How many tuners can you think of who work that closely with a major automaker? I can?t think of a single one.[...]

The 2 Series is BMW?s venture into offering a fun, sporty, luxury ride that?s somewhat affordable. The 220d model packs a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine under the hood, with a choice of either a two-door coupe or cabrio body style. While the base model convertible could be seen as a bit bland, all the trimmings are still available to those souls cavalier enough to take a pen to the options list. Now, it appears as though that list just got a lot bigger with a capital M.

BMW?s tuning division, BMW M GmbH, is responsible for some of the greatest Bimmers to ever touch tarmac. From the Nordschleife to the autobahn, an M badge on a BMW connotes one thing: complete seriousness about performance.[...]

2015 Ford Mustang customers looking to tweak their ponies have plenty of options as far as aftermarket parts and updates go, one of which is the Blue Oval’s very own Racing division. Ford Racing Parts has already launched a slew of upgrades for the sixth-generation Mustang, ranging from cat-back exhausts and mufflers, for both the EcoBoost and the GT, to halfshaft kits. More parts are scheduled to become available throughout 2015, but next year is also set to bring a custom engine calibrations for the four-cylinder ’Stang. That’s great news for enthusiasts who want to add more oomph to the EcoBoost’s 310 ponies and 320 pound-feet of torque without voiding the factory warranty.[...]

Leave it to John Hennessey to throw a supercharger and a tune on every V-8-powered GM vehicle. Take this 2015 GMC Yukon Denali. It's 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8 is fitted with Hennessey's HPE650 Supercharger kit that brings the engine's output rating to — like the name suggests — 650 horsepower.

The blower is a 2.9-liter unit that is cooled by a high-flow intercooler system, while a set of high-flow cylinder heads help the engine breath. A new camshaft makes adjusts the valves' operation, adding not only more horses but also a respectable rumble. Lastly Hennessey flashes the Yukon?s ECU with a custom tune. Best of all, the whole deal comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.[...]

The 2015 BMW M4 saw lots of love at SEMA this year, and for good reason. The German special has all the right roots to make it quite the tuner car for those daring to mess with something so good out of the box, like a twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter, inline-six motor putting out a healthy 425 horsepower through a six-speed manual gearbox (don't forget the optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic for those afraid of more than two pedals). Then there's the suspension, which is geared with obvious intention toward track usage over previous models, with 'play-free' ball joints and elastomeric bearings, a CFRP strut-tower brace, and a rear axle that's bolted directly to the rear subframe. The result is a car that simply begs for apexes.[...]

It's been a while since we last heard from Wheelsandmore. Actually, it?s been too long. But the German tuner knows how to make a comeback. Each and every time Wheelsandmore builds a program, you can count on it being comprehensive. The only thing different about this program is that it?s not limited to just one unit, but three; three Ferraris, to be exact.

The Ferrari F12berlinetta, the Ferrari FF, and the Ferrari California are all part of the tuner’s new "La Famiglia" program and all received the same tender, love, and care from Wheelsandmore, the kind that we?ve all come to know from the German company. Each Ferrari received a new set of wheels, obviously, and modest performance gains.

A handful of cosmetic upgrades were also given to the three Ferraris, although you?d be hard-pressed to notice them outside of the traditional Wheelsandmore decal that runs along the length of each Ferrari.ш...щ

We’ve always known Vilner to be an off-key tuner that specializes in dressing up interiors. Apparently, it?s also a fan of Star Wars, which may or not be surprising depending on your allegiance to the movie franchise. The Bulgarian tuner is such a fan that it decided to get an early start on Episode 7 promotions by giving the BMW M6 Convertible a Stormtrooper treatment.

Before Star Wars junkies get too excited, the program is actually a one-off, build specifically for one customer who offered his last-generation M6 to receive the aftermarket program. In other words, it?s a unique project that will be sold on a limited number. No more than 10 cars, according to Vilner.

The BMW Stormtrooper is actually the second project Vilner has made of this dramatic scale. Remember last year, when the company introduced the Bullshark? Seems like a long time ago, right?[...]
