Rinspeed is a Swiss-based automobile manufacturer and tuning designer with a very vivid imagination. Although it produces "normal" tuning products like the 600HP Porsche 911 Turbo, it is projects like the James Bond-like submersible Lotus Elise or the BamBoo EV study that are its hallmark.

Now, the innovative design house is planning to launch a new "mobility concept" at the 2012 Geneva Salon next March. The "Dock+Go" is the brainchild of Frank M. Rinderknecht, who describes it as a docking "backpack on wheels".[...]

Vorsteiner has just enhanced its existing styling package for the Bavarian crossover with a new rear diffuser made out of carbon fiber. Other aerodynamic components available from Vorsteiner for the X5M include a vented hood and an add-on front apron.[...]

For instance, the 1-Series M Coupe’s hood was taken out, replaced by a new power dome with carbon fiber pieces by Seibon. To give the sports car a colorful balance of sportiness and aggression, IND added gloss black front and side grilles to match the car’s Valencia Orange paint finish. Similarly, the tuning company also put in a two-piece adjustable front lip and two-piece rear diffuser, provided for by RevoZport, a new rear spoiler from BMW Performance, a custom paint scheme for the engine cover, and a Valencia Orange-striped BMW Performance steering wheel.[...]

The BMW X5 M is usually the last on the list of X5 variants to be targeted by the aftermarket industry. A diesel-powered SUV can be made to look cooler, sound better and go faster, but the M is already a looker, sprinter and growler.

However, where there's a will there's a way, and American tuner Vorsteiner seems to have found a little bit of both with their last project. They have just released a new aero kit for the 4.4-liter twin-turbo monster. This comprises of a front spoiler, some vents... [...]

The recently launched Mercedes CLS 63 AMG is powered by a 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine that delivers a total of 518 HP and 516 lb.-ft. of torque - a very impressive output for a luxury sedan, no doubt. That being said, American tuner, Renntech, has found a way to further improve the final output of the car to an impressive 669 HP and 734 lb-ft of torque.

According to the first details offered by the tuner, this is just the Stage 1 upgrade for the CLS63 AMG. In this stage, the extra output is provided by the addition of ECU tuning software and a new exhaust system. This allows the Mercedes to sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds at a speed of 125.01 mph. Better yet, it recently took on a Nissan GT-R at the Palm Beach International Raceway where it achieved a quarter mile in 11.21 seconds at 126 mph.[...]

The new generation S8 just broke cover, bringing with it a new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces an amazing 520 HP. Shying away from the old 450 HP 5.2-liter V10 engine was a stellar decision by Audi, but what happens to the poor chaps that already have an S8 with the old engine? Enter Anderson Germany.

The German tuner is offering the perfect solution for an increase in power without the customer having to wait and purchase the 2012 model. Their new S8 Superior Grey Edition package is named after its slick matte gray exterior paint finish, but has been released solely for the power boost. With the help of the typical ECU and new, special exhaust system, the vehicle’s V10 can push out an extra 58 HP, bringing the total to 508 HP. Top speed has also been increased to 186 mph.[...]

The highly modified BMW 1-Series M Coupe seen in these images is not the spawn of an Autobot, although its Transformer-like accessories would lead us in that direction. No, this aggressive looking BMW 1M is actually the product of a French racing team looking to add a little strength and intimidation to one of this year’s biggest attractions.

GC Automobile - that professional French racing team we mentioned - is offering up the first race tuning package for the BMW 1M, calling it the GC10-V8. The project began with the standard BMW, then went on to get a fiberglass tourism car body with aggressive detailing just about anywhere we can feast our eyes on. The sharp angular lines in the design language fulfill the tuner’s task of aggressive intimidation, down to the composite wide fender flares housing the new set of 18" wheels with either rain or slick tires and that huge rear spoiler. Control will be optimized with a 3-way OHLINS suspension system, an AP Racing 6-piston braking system, and a GP2 steering wheel.[....]
