Mercedes specialist tuner Brabus has a couple of interesting new packages making their debut at the 2011 Essen Motor Show, and thanks to Justin form JustinsSupercars, we can now bring you video footage of what the German tuner has done to the brand new M-Class.
On the cosmetics front, Brabus has decide to offer a lowering module for the models fitted with AIRMATIC air suspension, which brings the vehicle down by 30-40 mm, while SUVs fitted with a regular suspension can be slammed by a full 30... [...]

Our friend Justin was in Essen last week for the annual German motor show that usually centers around the custom and tuning industry. This year's edition didn't disappoint at all, with a couple of brand new Brabus monsters making their debut there.
We'll start with the tune SLS AMG Roadster, which has become the recipient of a new ports exhaust system that uses quad pipe with a diameter of 84 mm, as well as a new ECU map that allows the naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter AMG V8 engine to produce ... [...]

We start our light coverage of the 2011 Essen Motor Show in Germany with a video of one of, if not the, most outrageously cool vehicles there. We're talking about the ABT Audi R8 GTR in Police trim created by the tuners for the Tune it! Safe! campaign.
The vehicle revealed late last week was filmed in Essen by our fiend JustinsSupercars. The love child of Kempter-based tuner ABT and Hankook Tyres is 100 kg lighter than the regular V10-powered R8, and thanks to a power kit, it's also got a mas... [...]

We've said it before and we'll say it again: the fact that the Aventador has arrived and is trying to dominate the superca world doesn't mean that the Murcielago has been forgotten.
We've got the perfect example to illustrate this, in the form of the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV Setaro, a development coming from US tuning company PUR Wheels.
The tuner, which specialises on custom wheels for exotic cars, have chosen a dark finish for the wheels features on this Lambo, with this creatin...[...]

Just one day after announcing a new tuning package for the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster, German tuner Brabus have swicthed their focus to another model in the Mercedes line-up, but this time, it’s an SUV. The new generation ML-Class has been hooked up with the customary exterior and interior updates, as well as a significant power increase.
Brabus has brushed up on the new ML-Class’ already aggressive stance with a few accessories to accentuate it even further. The use of an "On Road" front spoiler with attachments for the air inlets in the front fascia, new sill skirts, a new rear spoiler, and a dual or quad sport exhaust system support their effort in bringing the SUV to the next level. Much like every other tuning package provided for any vehicle, Brabus also threw in a new set of wheels ranging from 18" to 22," depending on the choice of the customer. For the interior, Brabus is offering bi-color stainless-steel scuff plates with a backlit Brabus logo, as well as matte-anodized aluminum pedals, door-lock pins, and a new foot rest. Adding more elegance to the package is the choice of exotic-wood and carbon-fiber trim sets in any desired color.[...]

We’ve all seen and heard from Tune It! Safe! over the years for their rather ambitious projects in turning just about every car - exotic or otherwise - they get their hands on into something dressed in police livery. Or in their case, "Polizia".
So it really wasn’t all that surprising to see these guys at the Essen Motor Show proudly displaying their latest work, one that involves an ABT Sportsline-tuned Audi R8 GTR that has been dressed with - what else? - police regalia.
Taking the police livery - which, by the way, was done by Foliatec - out of the equation, this R8 GTR does come with plenty of enhancements on its own, including an extensive carbon fiber body kit, an "RTK-7" police lights from Hella, a sports-tuned suspension system, a new set of 19" wheels wrapped in Hankook tires with carbon ceramic brakes, Recaro seats, and a fully-prepped rollbar.
Since Tune It! Safe! went and used an ABT R8 GTR - one of the 25 available units, we suppose - it goes without saying that the police-dressed supercar comes packed with plenty of performance upgrades, one that ended up bumping the 5.2-liter V10 engine’s output all the way up to a mouth-watering 620 horsepower and 406 lb/ft of torque. These numbers translate to a 0-62 mph time of just 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph.[...]

Afzal Kahn and his fellows at Kahn Design probably know more about tuning Range Rovers than most people know how to brush their teeth. Over the years that they’ve been in business, that much has been clear.
The British tuning company’s latest Range Rover project is yet another example of the company’s innovativeness in coming out with programs for the luxury SUV.
This one is called the Military Edition, and true to it’s name, it’s been designed with plenty of high-end security design cues that makes it a virtual fortress on wheels.
The exterior of the Range Rover received a Metallic Military Grey paint finish while also getting fitted with a wide arch pace kit that comes with LED daylight lighting in the front arch extensions. Meanwhile, the program also includes an RS grille in carbon fiber finish with a Metallic Military Grey inner grille insert and black mesh. There’s also a front lip extension spoiler, also dressed in Metallic Military Grey and treated to a carbon fiber finish. Rounding out the exterior modifications are orange calipers, black rubber steps, Kahn badging, illuminated Kahn side sill plates, and a new set of 22" Kahn RS/R wheels.
Inside, the Range Rover Military Edition put in bullet-proof glass to ensure that the owners receive maximum protection from any and all threats that might come their way. Adding to the bullet proof glass is a bespoke interior that comes with an RS leather interior in black with grey insert panels, a quilted glove box, door tops and instrumental binnacle, a blue time clock with black Swarovski bezel, a Kahn billet steering wheel finished with grey top and bottom sections.[...]
