German tuning company Brabus has been quite the busy bees the past couple of months, haven’t they?
It was only a few months ago at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show that they introduced two new models to their line-up: the 2012 Brabus Rocket 800 and the 2011 Brabus High Performance 4WD Full Electric Concept Car. Then, they followed that up at the recently concluded Dubai Motor Show with the release of the 2012 Mercedes CL 800 Coupe by Brabus.
And now that the 2011 Essen Motor Show is knocking at the door, it appears that we’re going to get a couple more new programs courtesy of the noted Merceedes tuning company, including one for the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster. Official details behind the car have not yet been announced but the word out on the street is that it will be similar to the program given to the SLS AMG, particularly the prevalent use of carbon fiber, lightweight forged wheels, a new electronically adjustable suspension system, and of course, a performance boost that should take the output of the SLS AMG Roadster straight into the neighborhood of 700 horsepower.[...]

Its been a while since we last hear something about the Shelby GT500CR Venom by Classic Recreations. But now the car is back, carrying a different name: GT500CR 900S. The car is powered by a a 427ci V8 engine paired to a ProCharger F1-R centrifugal supercharger for a total output of 790 HP.
And just like with all the previous GT500CR models, with the 900S Classic Recreations did their best to keep the classic looks of the 1967 model. For this the changes to the car’s exterior have been minimal: it gets new authentic Carroll Shelby exterior fiberglass enhancements, sequential Shelby taillights, Carroll Shelby GT500CR emblems, and a Carroll Shelby Lemans racing gas cap. The interior gets Carroll Shelby signature seats, a woodgrain aluminum steering wheel and a 200 mph speedometer. A feature that you won’t find in the classic model is a new Pioneer CD player equipped with a customer subwoofer enclosure, four handmade component speakers and 1000 watt amplifiers.[...]

The good news for those wanting to burn some cash on a hot set of wheels is that Subaru has unwrapped a new special edition version of its Impreza STI sports sedan called the S206. The bad news isn't that only 300 will be built, but that all cars will be only available in Japan.
Billed by Subaru as the "crown of STI tuned cars", the new Impreza WRX STI S206 follows on from previous ?S? versions, such as the S203, S204 and S205.
So what's special about the new STI model? Well, for starters, the S206 employs exclusive Bilstein dampers, STi coil springs, a flexible front tower bar and draw stiffener, which promise to further improve the car?s precise and quick cornering response.[...]

Nissan has recently released the 2013 GT-R, with the beast packing even more tech goodies than before, offering a 2.84s 0 to 62 mph sprint and... wait a minute? What if you're the owner of a, let's say, 2011 Godzilla, what can you do to still get attention, if this is what you want?
Well, you could peal a giant banana and re-skin your GT-R, like the owner of the vehicle in the adjacent photo (for which we must thank luxury4play) did. It seems that the yellow application job was well taken car... [...]

For sure you have seen lots of crazy tuning packages out there, but its not everyday you have the chance to see one offered in an incredible Blue-Green paint job. But Wimmer RS, a German tuner that might be familiar to you for its incredible tuning packages has decided that the Mercedes C63 AMG will look better in two colors.
Their project - BlueGreen Eliminator - starts with a very impressive engine update. The tuner has added new sport camshafts, a new sport air filter by K & N that helps optimize the incoming air. Next to this the car has also received manifold, down pipe and special sport catalysts and of course a hand-made stainless steel exhaust system from the Wimmer House. And as a final touch to the engine the engine electronics have been adjusted. As a result the car is delivering a total of 601 HP and a peak torque of 531 lbs-ft. Top speed has been increased to 209 mph.
Next to the engine job Wimmer has also opted for a complete foiling of the body with blue and green /matte and of course a new set of 19" wheels combined with a MOV’IT ceramic brake system.[...]

The BMW X5 has a huge success and while that may be pleasing for BMW, it means that, if you own one, it's pretty likely to get lost in the crowd of other SAVs. For some this can be good, while others may want to stand out. The latter category brings us to the subject of our news: the Need 4 Speed Motorsports BMW X5.
The SAV was gifted with an AC Schnitzer exterior package, which comes with a moderate approach, but is still sporty enough to draw attention - a balance that's pretty hard to obta... [...]

When you hear the RUF name, you instantly think about a Porsche 911 that's tuned to perfection, so you can imagine how happy we are to watch the adjacent video, which shows a trio of 911 RUFs playing on the Nurburgring.
The video, which was shot by Youtube user SpotterGijs (we must thank GTspirit for the scoop), brings us a pair of RUF RT-12S (one is dressed in black and one in yellow), as well as a RUF RGT, which is wearing a pearlescent silver coat.
The three were put through their paces... [...]

We love it when wonderful colors mix and it seems that so does German aftermarket developer Wimmer RS, who has recently released a modification package for the Mercedes C63 AMG Performance Package into a Green-Blue monster.
The 6.2-liters of the naturally-aspirated V8 engine now deliver 601 hp and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) instead of the factory stock 480 hp and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft).
The C63 AMG Performance Package is already a violent machine, so you can imagine what the car can do after this gym ... [...]
