While BMW is preparing a refresh version for the X6 SUV, the tuners are looking for all kind of possibilities to update the current model. We've said it once and we'll say it again (?and again and again): not all tuning jobs are made equal. There are tuners that hastily upgrade certain parts of cars and there are artsy customizers like Roadster Shop that design unique vehicles like no other.
Roadster Shop, which is based in Mundelein, Illinois, specializes on classic American cars - and we're not talking about a simple paint job or even a full blown restoration, but a complete transformation of the entire vehicle.
One of their latest and more publicized designs is a 1967 Chevrolet Nova coupe named Innovator. As you can see from the comprehensive photo gallery, every single component and panel of the original Nova was either replaced or upgraded to create a high-tech street racer.[...]

Bavarian tuning company, a-workx, has been involved in auto racing far longer than we can remember so they’re one of those companies that can draw from their bank of experience to build tuning programs for just about any car they can get their hands on.
For this particular project, a-workx took a BMW M3 and proceeded to give it the kind of racing program that can even take the M3 GTS to task. That’s not an easy thing to say, but a-workx has both the knowledge and the resources to make it happen.
The first order of business for the M3 was to give it’s 4.0-liter V8 engine a plethora of modifications, including new a-workx camshafts, a new sports air filter, a carbon fiber air box, an Akrapovic Evolution titanium exhaust, and, last but certainly not least, an ECU remap. All these tweaks and additions have helped the M3 increase its output from the standard 414 horsepower all the way up to 460 horsepower and 295 lb/ft of torque. These upgrades have translated into improved performance numbers, including a 0-62 mph time of just 4.1 seconds and a Hockenheim Short lap time of just 1:11.9, six-tenths faster than the mighty M3 GTS. The whole price for the engine set-up rings in at €8,710 ($11,700).[...]

November is shaping up to be by far the most intense motor show month of the year as we've already had two major events, the 2011 SEMA Show and this week's 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, with two more heading our way, the 2011 Essen Motor Show and the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show.
The Essen Motor Show, which is the European equivalent of SEMA and takes place in Germany from November 26 to December 4, is up next. Today, BMW announced that its BMW Performance and BMW M Performance divisions will officially participate in the tuning show for the very first time (for those of you counting, we used the word "Show" 8 times, and the word "BMW" three times?in the same sentence).[...]

Rolls-Royce has an obsession from hiding the opulence of its cars a little bit and the company has made no exception with the Phantom Drophead Coupe. However, there are certain people who like to bring luxury into the obvious.
Let's take the vehicle from the aforementioned images for example - the Bijan Edition Drophead. Why else would you dress your two-door Rolls in the color of a banana, if not to gather all the attention in the world?
And to top the whole thing off, the interior comes ... [...]
