There’s no doubt that the SEMA Auto Show is all about displaying extreme update packages for models currently on the market and a tuning firm like Underground Racing will never disappoint. Their latest project is based on the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera and, just like any other Underground Racing package, includes some pretty impressive updates.
The tuner’s package is called the Underground Racing TT Lamborghini Superleggera LP 1000-4 and as you might have guessed, includes an impressive twin-turbo conversion that will increase the V10’s total output from the standard 570 HP to a total of 1000 HP! The back of the car reveals a new custom fabricated stainless steel exhaust that will let the engine’s new and throaty sound flow out like beautiful music. Next to the extra 430 HP and the new exhaust, the Superleggera LP 1000-4 also received a new set of wheels from HRE.[...]

One particular Ford Mustang GT that caught our eye at the 2011 SEMA Auto Show came into fruition from a sad story that involved the death of a man considered as an important member of the Mustang community, Joe Gosinski of Chicane Sport Tuning.
Last December, Gosinski was found murdered in his Chicane Sport Tuning shop in Torrance, CA shop. As a way of showing some love to the man, Matt Bernal, a former employee of Gosinski, and Sal Valdez, one of his most ardent customers, teamed up to build the Mustang "Last Ride" Tribute.
Packed with a comprehensive tuning program that Gosinski will be proud of, the "Last Ride" Mustang was born when a lot of companies teamed up to create a true one-of-a-kind ride. Trufiber was responsible for putting the car’s carbon fiber hood, front splitter and side spliters, and rear valence. The carbon fiber roof skin was provided by RK Sport, while the custom billet fuel door came courtesy of Silver Horse Racing. Rounding out the exterior touches include a new grille and rear quarter covers from Saleen, fender badges and a faux gas cap from Chicane, a custom paint finish from D-BAS, and a new set of 20" powder-coated black Vossen CV3 wheels wrapped in Falken FK-452 tires.
The muscle car’s chassis setup was also modified with a new Saleen adjustable coilover suspension, Hellwig Motorsports adjustable sway bars, Baer front 14-inch brakes with six-piston calipers. The interior of the "Last Ride" Mustang features new Corbeau LG1 race seats and harness bar and an Auto Meter a-pillar mount and gauges.[...]

Tuning a Porsche 911 is almost a must, if you want people to know that you're a serious aftermarket developer. It doesn't matter if your starting point is the fresh 991 generation or if you way back to the 356 grandfather, you have to do a project based on the rear-engined coupe.
The latest company to demonstrate this is dp Motorsport, a German tuner that entered business in 1973 and is now giving us a heavily modified 911 from the same year.
At the back, we have a 3.6-liter flat six that ... [...]

Over the years, tons of tuning companies have gotten their hands on a Porsche 911 at some point or another. Typically, with every new generation 911, there’s hundreds or thousands of kits to improve upon the standard model. Very rarely, however, do we come across a tuning kit for a much older model such as this 1973 Porsche 911. German tuner, dp Motorsport, has decided to take on this task with an impressive body kit, interior updates, and a boost of power to 310 HP.
The new body kit used for the 1973 Porsche 911 is made entirely from carbon fiber and includes a new front bumper, hood, fenders, lightweight doors, rear fender flares, rear bumper, and rear spoiler. Both hoods were also equipped with quick release fasteners. The Porsche’s standard windows have been replaced by a set of green-toned Plexiglas windows and lightweight lamp lenses were also installed, both for the sake of saving some weight. This is also the reason the carbon roof panel has been manufactured using the sandwich vacuum technique.[...]

We're still dying to see the facelifted Audi R8, which we though was coming to Frankfurt but now looks like a 2012 reveal. So a fresh take on the almost classic looks of this mid-engined sportscar got us all hot and bothered.
We're talking about the R8 Toxique created body kit that was created by TC Concepts. The car has been lowered significantly and sits on massive tires with rubber so thin it looks like a strip of paint.
At the front, the R8 looks to have received a lot of styling eleme... [...]

The aforementioned Forgiato Wheels commercial has it all: muscle cars, tuned rides, supercars and, of course, custom wheels. Oh, and a girl in high heel boots driving a Murcielago. There's really not much to talk about here, as the rims speak for themselves. Each spoke is worth about a few thousand words, with the center caps bringing the punctuation and the lips helping wit the paragraphs. You also get formal and informal writing styles, depending on the type of rim you choose and you can...

There are tuning jobs and there are tuning jobs. Whereas some companies sprinkle a few accessories on their cars and call it a day, other tuners like D P Motorsports go the whole nine yards creating truly unique projects.
The German firm's newest creation is a very special 1973 Porsche 911 (G-Model) that has been transformed in every possible way. The highlight of the tune is the carbon fiber dp11 RS 2011 costume manufactured from carbon fiber, which includes the roof, bumpers, hood, doors, rocker panels front and rear fenders and the rear spoiler - in other words, every exterior body panel.[...]

Underground Racing has made a name for itself by providing some of the most amazing tuning projects for a number of sports cars. Not only do these packages improve on the base product, but they take it to the extremes in the most fantastic way possible. One example of their work is the Gallardo TT, which comes in three different engine upgrades with power ranging from 650 WHP to 1250 WHP.
Then there’s the other tuning company with similar skills as that of Underground Racing. AMS Performance has grown keen of the Nissan GT-R (who wouldn’t?) and their packages for Godzilla tend to be absolutely breathtaking. Their most notable work is the impressive Alpha 12 package that delivers an impressive 1,318 HP.[...]
