The Porsche 911 GT3 certainly has a following with customers wanting a pure sports car experience, but sometimes there’s a need for a little more. That’s when tuning companies step in to customize the vehicles that every enthusiast seems to have. REIL Performance has done just this with the GT3 by adding a few extra horses and some well-appointed graphics.
In its standard version, the 911 GT3 uses a 3.8-liter six-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine that develops maximum output of 435 HP. REIL Performance bumped the power with a specially designed Akrapovic exhaust system, which includes an almost indispensable damper control system that helps it adapt to the track. This system adds an extra 20 HP to the engine’s output, bringing it up to a total of 455 HP. The tuner also added an HLS lift kit to bring up the nose of the sports car just enough to avoid getting scraped and ground against those road obstacles.[...]

BMW has done an excellent job of making the 5-Series relevant in the modern age, even if that has meant loading it with a ton of kit and offering up really frugal little four-pots. However, there are still fans of the 5er who want the full V8 muscle, and for them, compromise is not an option.
German exhaust specialists Eisenmann have created a fresh set of rear silencers for the mightiest 5-Series that's not wearing the M badge. Thus the 550i benefits from a more focused exhaust note and a re...[...]

The GT3 might be one of the most pure sportscars on the market right now, but it's also a bit boring and doesn't come with a lot of options. However, people in need of some track attacking still buy it and go to the aftermarket industry to ensure theirs stands out on the Nurburgring every Sunday.
REIL Performance has taken it upon themselves to create an aftermarket kit for the mighty 911 GT3, and the big news has nothing to do with those stickers and spoilers. A new Akrapovic exhaust system ... [...]

Brabus has chosen the 2011 Dubai Motor Show to set the stage for the world’s fastest and most powerful luxury coupe. Together with some of the most amazing vehicles in the world, Brabus has revealed their Brabus 800 Coupe based off of the Mercedes CL600. This new package ensures the coupe pushes out 800 HP and a top speed of 217 mph while looking sporty and elegant.
Starting off the transformation is the upsizing of the vehicle’s V12 engine, from 5.5 L to 6.3L. Then, thanks to a high-end turbocharging system designed by Brabus engine specialists and a carbon-fiber ram-air intake integrated into the hood, the CL600 now pushes out a total of 800 HP and 1,047 lb-ft of torque. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is now made in just 3.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 217 mph.[...]

The latest Mercedes-Benz CL 600 is a fine grand tourer, but how do you make it better? In fact, how do you transform it into what Brabus calls, "the world?s fastest and most powerful luxury coupe"?
For starters, you take the standard twin-turbo 5.5-liter V12 and tune it with a Brabus-developed crankshaft with longer stroke, increased cylinder bore and larger pistons. Now that you have a V12 with a 6.3-liter displacement, you can add four new camshafts and fine-machine the two cylinder heads of the V12 in order to optimize the mixture flow.[...]

While a 1967 Volvo Amazon Kombi may seem like one of the last cars you'd consider putting up against a Ferrari 458 Italia, it doesn?t take long to see that this Swede is not your run-of-the-mill station wagon.
The team over at GTBOARD, which uploaded the video on Youtube, didn't provide any supplementary information on the Amazon, but looking through our archives we discovered that this particular modified Volvo is most likely the same car that was displayed at the 2006 SEMA Show, albeit updated with several tuning goods.[...]

With the 2011 SEMA Auto Show fast approaching, one automaker has taken the lead-up to introduce some of the models they’ll have in attendance at the world’s biggest aftermarket auto exhibition.
You can always count on Hyundai to make a splash at SEMA and this year appears to be no different. After a teaser of an Ark Performance-tuned Veloster a few weeks ago, another Veloster has been given its own rendering round-up leading up to the grand unveiling in two weeks time.
This time around, the car comes courtesy of PM Lifestyle and true to their name, this Veloster looks to have a lifestyle all its own. Nevermind the fact that the car will carry a mechanical overhaul that includes NOS, launch control, and a high-flow racing catalytic converter - estimated output is around 163 horsepower - this Veloster comes with some exterior and interior modifications that will definitely thump your senses.[...]

You already know that John Hennessey's daily driver, the heavily modified Cadillac CTS-V Hammer Wagon is one mean machine. However, the tuner felt the need to reinforce this and is now giving us a video if the beast playing the quarter mile game.
The station Wagon does a little burnout to heat up its rear tires first and then pulls up to the Christmas tree. When the hammer is put down, the beast seems to be willing to swallow both the air and the tarmac in front of it.
The result? The veh... [...]
