German tuning company, Vorsteiner, has traveled across the pond to attend the 2011 SEMA Auto Show and they’re bringing a modded BMW M3 right along with them.
The "GTS-V" program on the M3 includes a comprehensive list of aerodynamic and performance modifications, which Vorsteiner added to the BMW sports car with plenty of help from some of its tuning friends, including EAS, Macht Schnell, Volk Racing, Akrapovic, MXP, and Hankook.
The M3 GTS-V was given a Mineral White paint finish with matching gray, black, and green graphics. There’s also a new carbon front spoiler and carbon rear diffuser from Vorsteiner, as well as new Version 4.0 LED Angel Eyes courtesy of AiB. From there, new BMW Edition Black chrome kidneys and side gills were also added, as well as Mineral White Painted Reflectors from IND. The set-up and handling of the BMW M3 was also improved, thanks to a new KW Adjustable Spring Sleeve Kit that was installed to increase the coupe’s suspension stability. Rounding out the exterior changes are a new set of 18" Volk Racing TE37 wheels wrapped around Hankook RS-3 tires with Brembo GT-R brakes and a TPMS module from Macht Schnell.[...]

For all the excitement surrounding the 2011 SEMA Auto Show, the lack of European exotics present is one of the things that we think should be changed. For their part, Galpin Auto Sports - yeah, those boys from Pimp My Ride - want to change that, or at least hope to, by bringing a tricked out version of one of Britain’s best supercars, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage AMWH, to Las Vegas.
As one of a total of 12 vehicles being brought by GAS, the V12 Vantage AMWH comes with a bevy of exterior modifications, to go with a subtle performance upgrade. To begin their project, GAS dressed the British supercar in a flat-matte paint finish with matching black-painted trim pieces on the grille and the window surrounds. The American tuner also gave the car plenty of carbon fiber material, including on, but not limited to, the mirrors, the rear diffuser, the interior door panels, climate-control vents, and strut braces. Rounding out the exterior modifications for the V12 Vantage are a new set of 20" matte black wheels.[...]

We know what you're thinking: Mopar + new V10 engine = all-new Dodge Viper. Well, this isn't the case. At least not yet. For now, Chrysler's parts division is using the SEMA event to unveil not a 8.7-liter V8, as the next Viper will get, but an 8.4-liter V10 crate engine.
Don't call this one baby, Part Number P5144872 would be more appropriate. The powerplant, which comes with a displacement of 512 cubic inches (8.4-liters) delivers 800 hp and 695 lb-ft of torque.
In addition to that, we a... [...]

Subaru’s in-house performance tuning division is preparing a fantastic looking WRX STI sedan that’s parked at the 2011 SEMA Auto Show.
Aesthetically speaking, Subaru Performance Tuning’s imprint is all over the car as evidenced by all the aerodynamic additions given to the sedan. The front lip spoiler, the carbon fiber B-pillar trim, the carbon fiber trunk trim, and the carbon fiber side sill plates are all products of SPT. The WRX STI also carries new strut tower and lower chassis braces that come in handy in maximizing the potential of the car’s newly-installed Cusco Zero-2E coilover suspension kit.
Other exterior additions to the car include a moon roof air deflector, exhaust finishers, a billet oil cap (V.2), a billet battery hold down (V.2), and a set of 19" Volks Racing G12 wheels wrapped in Yokohama ADVAN Sport tires with Brembo’s "Gran Turismo" four-wheel brake kit.
Inside, SPT gave the WRX STI a unique electronic set-up, highlighted by a Footwell illumination kit, an auto-dimming mirror with a trans-reflective display, and a media hub digital music integration system with a 10" KICKER subwoofer.[...]

The SEMA show is ready to cater to all our custom car needs, but we have to admit that many creations presented at the event come with a bit too many features for our taste. However, there are certain projects that really show good taste and which we'd really love to include in our garage.
One example is the Mazda MX-5 Spyder, which has now been fully revealed. The vehicle's design has been significantly modified through the use of a single-piece soft top, which brings a sleeker profile.[...]

Whatever you think of the Chevrolet Camaro, you know that at the deep recesses of its heart, it’s a muscle car that’s only waiting to be unleashed on a drag strip. After all, the COPO Camaro was one of the best stock cars back in the 60’s, a time when the Central Office Production Order (COPO) - Chevrolet’s vehicle special-order program - became famous for all the performance-minded Camaros that were made, mostly with intentions of turning them into Stock Eliminator racers.
Half a century later, the COPO Camaro is making a comeback as a concept vehicle designed to the specifications for NHRA Stock Eliminator drag racing competition. One of the unique things about this particular Camaro is that it was designed to accommodate a few engine options, including that of the 7.0-liter naturally-aspirated engine that was found in the original COPO Camaros from yesteryear.
In terms of design, the COPO Camaro Concept pretty much adhered to its set-up as a full-spec drag car. Gone are all the bells and whistles that usually come in a standard Camaro. In their place, Chevrolet added a full array of race equipment, including a full, chrome molly roll cage, a high-rise cowl-induction system, a set of 29" lightweight, COPO-specific racing wheels wrapped in 4.5x28x15 "inch front tires. Inside, the car receives a pair of racing bucket seats with no rear seat, a safety harness for the driver, a competition floor shifter, and Chevrolet Performance gauges by Auto Meter.[...]

It can be argued that Subaru?s line-up of SEMA-bound vehicles offer a look at the rich motor racing history of the Japanese automaker. That is until you look at the accessory packages for the four-door and five-door variants of the Impreza.
The former is arguably the least eye-popping of the whole line-up, but it does give us an idea of what we can expect as far as what an Impreza Accessory Vehicle is going to look like. In dressing up the car?s exterior, Subaru used a Satin White theme on a number of aerodynamic body parts, including the body side molding kit, the splash guards, and the trunk spoiler. The moon-roof air deflector and the rear bumper pain protection film round out the exterior modifications given to the Impreza 4-Door Accessory Vehicle.
Inside, the modifications were pretty subtle compared to the other models, in particular, the 4-Door?s 5-Door brother. The only notable improvements done on the former?s interior include a new cargo tray, side sill plates, and carpeted floor mats, all of which were sourced from Subaru Performance Tuning. Upgraded speakers courtesy of KICKER Audio and an auto-dimming mirror with compass and Homelink are the final two touches given to the car.[...]

In an effort to bring Suzuki's automotive and outboard maritime motors divisions togehter, the students at the Ohio Technical College (OTC) have developed the Suzuki Grand Vitara Marine Concept, a development that is being displayed at this year's SEMA event.
We are dealing with a Grand Vitara that has had its roof chopped off and now comes with boat-like side windows, serious off-road tires, a boat-style radar arch, a nautical paint job and a... outboard engine strapped to its rear end.[...]

Anytime you have an audio system get the green light from an automaker to customize one of their cars, you know that the focus will be on enhancing the car’s audio set-up.
That’s exactly what Kicker Audio did with the Subaru WRX STI 5-Door. To be fair, the car still comes with some exterior details, including blue and black body graphics that cover major parts of the car’s white exterior finish, Eibach lowering springs, and a new set of 18" Konig Black Lightning wheels wrapped on General Tires Exclaim.[...]

The Subaru Impreza 5-Door Accessory Vehicle is in the same boat as its 4-Door counterpart. They’re not as much in the way of flash, as they are in previewing to customers what awaits with their new Accessory packages.
Compared to the rest of the cars that you’re going to catch at the 2011 SEMA Auto Show, this one will probably not make your most memorable list, but that’s also not what it went there to do. This car, together with its four-door sibling, will be purely for marketing purposes.
The Impreza Sport 5-Door Accessory Vehicle has been dressed in a special Brushed Titanium 3M Scotchpring textured wrap to go with a new mesh grille, an aero splash guard, a front underspoiler, new crossbars, side strakes, a sport spoiler, side window reflectors, and a Yakima fork mounted bike carrier and bike wheel holder.[...]
