A lot of people might not know this but the new Ford Focus has will only be making its debut at the SEMA Auto Show this year. That’s probably why Ford decided to roll out a fleet of Focus models to the event, all of which were tuned by a different aftermarket company.

One of the Focus models scheduled to attend SEMA comes by way of Bojix Design, which is no stranger to modifications on the Focus after already boasting of a number of programs for the sports hatch.

For the SEMA-bound model, Bojix decided to add a little European flair to the car, complete with an aggressive styling that includes a Bojix body kit, a 3dCarbon upper roof spoiler, a set of 20" Rennen M10 wheels on the exterior. As far as the interior is concerned, the changes come in the form of Katzkin leather seating surfaces and door panels, Alcantara-covered surfaces, and a new Accele rearview mirror that features a panoramic view.[...]

Fast Fords at SEMAFord has a number of house-approved car they want to show to the public at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where we think a new vision of the aftermarket world will be seen.

Why do we say that? Because the focus isn't on some sort of tuned 2010 Mustang, but on the new Focus and its ST hothatch version, which represents the Blue Oval's fresh global product offensive. In total, there will be seven different versions of the Focus coming from such companies as 3dCarbon, ROUSH Performance Pro...[...]

Modified Cars Based on the MoviesMovies and cars have had a close knit relationship throughout Hollywood history. The popularity of the Fast and Furious franchise and new films like Drive makes them heirs to the unique winning partnership between the camera and the wheels.

Earlier films like Bullit, Ronin, The French Connection and The Italian Job thrilled petrolheads with their dynamic chase scenes. Inspired viewers have gone so far as to modify their cars to capture the spirit of the movies. Here are some great examples. [...]

Just like skirts getting blown up by the wind, teaser images like these just leaves a whole lot to the imagination. Can’t you guys raise the covers up a little bit more?

In any case, what you see is the second Ford model that Tjin Edition is set to bring at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas in two weeks time. We already showed you the Ford Mustang, so this time around, you can get your speculations on as to what the aftermarket company did to the Ford Explorer.

The image doesn’t shed a whole lot apart from that custom 24" iForged Concave wheel that appears to be part of Tjin Edition’s package for the Explorer.

In any case, the company did reveal a slew of other options added on to the Ford Explorer, including a custom Dupont paint finish, a lowered Einbach suspension set-up, large Baer brakes, a Thule bike rack, a black leather interior by LR Auto Body, and a pair of Recaro child seats, among other things.[...]

Honda Civic Si Tjin Edition

It seems that this year’s SEMA Show kept Tjin Edition pretty busy. Next to a special Mustang GT 5.0, the tuner will also be displaying in Las Vegas a special Honda Civic SI developed in cooperation with Honda North America.

According to the tuner his Civic SI has been developed with form, function and family in mind. The first thing you will notice about the car is a special Wraptivo wrap done by the guys at Daley Visual. Apparently this wrap was the last roll in existence making the Civic SI even more impressive. Next to it there will also be an set of 19? Rotiform Concave BLQ wheels. The Civic?s center of gravity is brought down via Function and Form fully adjustable coilovers, and tucked away behind the concave wheels are a set of Baer brakes.[...]

BMW 5-Series H35d by Hartge

Diesel cars often get an unfair rep for not being as powerful as their gasoline counterparts are. That’s where tuning firms like Hartge come in.

Not much power? Yeah, they’ll take care of that.

The tuning firm’s latest program involves a BMW 5-Series 535d model and it comes with doses of styling and performance modifications. Styling-wise, Hartge’s package comes with new carbon casings for the mirrors, a set of Hartge emblems for the bonnet and the bootlid, new 80mm mufflers, a suspension tweak, and a new set of 21" Hartge Classic 2 wheels. Inside, the BMW 535d gets a Hartge aluminum medal on the steering wheel, as well as aluminum pedals, and black velor floor mats.

More importantly, Hartge also treated the BMW 5-Series with a sweet performance package, courtesy of an engine conversion that takes the 535d’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight six diesel engine and improves its output from 295 horsepower and 442 lb/ft of torque all the way up to 354 horsepower and 516 lb/ft of torque.[...]
