The Porsche everybody is talking about right now (and will be in the future) is the new 911. The 991 generation of the rear-engined coupe was the king of the Frankfurt Auto Show that witnessed its official launch and the car continues to get more attention than any other.

The Mercedes CLS 63 AMG can play some many roles, such as a Grand Tourer, a luxury sedan and maybe even a supercar. However, the AMG four-door coupe is now taking a new shape thanks to German tuner Vath, which is offering a complete modification package for the car.

The 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine has been gifted with the Vath V63RS package, which upgrades the unit from 525 h and 700 Nm to 660 hp and 990 Nm.

The Mercedes CLS 63 AMG has been launched back in April, and until now only Carlsson and Wheelsandmore have found a way to improve the model. But today the German tuner Vath comes with the most impressive upgrade package for the luxury sedan.

The standard CLS 63 AMG gets a 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine that will deliver a total of 518 HP and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. Good, but it can be better. Vath for example has found a solution to increase the output to an impressive 660 HP. For that the tuner is offering a V63RS tuning kit that includes optimized charge air cooler system and sports exhaust system consisting of stainless steel catalysts, middle and tail muffler systems. The result is an impressive 660 HP and a peak torque of 708 lbs-ft. With the extra HP the CLS 63 AMG will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, to 124 mph in 12.0 second and will be capable to hit a top speed of 201 mph.[...]

If for some very strange reason you find that the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG lacks some serious punch under its hood, Germany's Vath has developed a new performance package for Stuttgart's sports saloon.

The tuner breaths more fire into the CLS 63 AMG through the use of its V63RS engine kit that bumps the 5.5-liter bi-turbocharged V8's output from 525-hp and 700-Nm to 660-horses and a whopping 990Nm or 730 lb-ft of peak torque.[...]

Brabus’ Mercedes line-up of vehicles continues to heat up with the recent announcement of two new performance packages for the CL500 4MATIC.

Not content with the car’s already robust 4.7-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces 435 horsepower and 516 lb/ft of torque? If so, Brabus has ttwo power upgrades for you to choose from.

The first one is called the ’Brabus B50 - 490’, which consists of a new plug-and-play PowerXtra module that tweaks the engine’s performance capabilities through improved electronics, ignition, injection, and electronic boost pressure control. The modifications result in a car that’s capable of hitting 490 horsepower and 575 lb/ft of torque. Mighty impressive on its own right, yes?

But if you’re still not satisfied with that, Brabus is also offering something a little more powerful in the form of the ’Brabus B50 - 520’, a program that carries all of the features of the 490 while also coming with an additional intercooler. The result is a might 520 horsepower and 604 lb/ft of torque on the CL500 4MATIC.[...]

Over in Japan, a new tuning company is breaking into the auto tuning scene and they’ve prepared a nice program for the Lamborghini Gallardo as their very first project.

The tuning company is called BenSopra and they’ve only been open for a few months. Ever mindful of the fierce competition within the industry, the Japanese tuning company wanted their first project to be something people would remember - even if the whole program isn’t so much about over-the-top craziness as it is about subtle styling cues that add an element of sublime exclusivity to the Italian supercar.[...]

SEMA Show will start in about two weeks and as expected we can offer you more and more details about the models to be displayed in the show. And, as no surprise models like Ford Mustang will once again steal the show.

The new project has been developed by UTI and Tjin Edition in cooperation with Ford and is based on the 2012 Mustang GT 5.0. This one of a kind Mustang sports a custom Dupont paint job, 20" Forgestar wheels, Baer big brakes, custom interior and of course a Paxton Supercharger.

There are no details about the final output just yet, but taking a look at Tjin’s previous works we expect to see big things in Las Vegas.[...]

SR Auto Group impressed us with lots of impressive tuning package lately. If you remember just recently we have reported about the Project Deathbolt and the Project Veneto. And today its time to talk about the Project Flashbang based on the BMW Z4.

The drawing board for Project Flashbang was filled with an abundance of ideas but in the end the tuner decided to go with what felt natural. SR Group is usually a tuner that modifies the least as possible. But with the Z4 they did a little bit more: they have added an AC Schnitzer front aero lip, a new front bumper, a two piece lip spoiler and a rear with a sharper edge.[...]

We're pretty sure that Land Rover didn't expect the Range Rover to become one of the tuning world's favorite toys. We're not talking about modifications that upgrade the Range Rover's off-roading capabilities, but about tuning kits that try to make it cooler and offer it a more dynamic aspect.

Before we start describing the latest example of such a development, we have to tell you that we love the big Range, but we disapprove aftermarket bits and pieces that limit its off-road capacities.[...]
