German automaker, Artega, first unveiled the Artega SE at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show last March, showing the promise of what a German electric sports car could look like, as well as giving the US-based Tesla and their pride and joy, the Roadster 2.5, something to think about.
Recently, the Artega SE was also in attendance at the Frankfurt Motor Show with plenty of updates on the vehicle. The model that we saw at Frankfurt looks to be one of the few test prototypes of the electric sports car.
While expectations are understandably high for the SE, Artega is tempering its expectations on the car, leaving it with a concept tag while it still undergoes testing and development.[...]

It was only a matter of time until the Chinese market received its exclusive modification packages from European tuning and here we are talking about another example of this.

The twin-turbo V12 powerplant has been gifted with a sports exhaust and an ECU remap, and now delivers 600 hp instead of the factory stock power output of 517 hp. As for the...[...]

The Renault Clio RenaultSport or RS 200 for short is considered to be one of the best small hot hatches in Europe. German tuning house MR Car Design believes it can make it a little bit better with a selection of very mild modifications.
MR Car Design starts with the Renault Clio RS 200's 2.0-liter, naturally-aspirated four-banger that produces 200-horses in factory tune. After the fitting of an optimized ECU and a custom exhaust system that includes the Akrapovic-Evolution-System, output is pushed to a more potent 220-horsepower.[...]

Aftermarket companies have waited a long time for the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster. If for nothing else, they just couldn’t wait to get their hands on one to see what kind of tuning program they could make.
At least one tuning company will agree to this because we already have the first tuning program for the SLS Roadster courtesy of Kicherer.
In building the program for the supercar, Kicherer paid careful attention in not completely changing the overall essence of the car, although they did add a few carbon dress-ups to make it stand out as a Kicherer project. The most noticeable is the hand-made GT front grille, but many other fancy parts got added, including a new front spoiler, new side skirts, aerodynamic fins that were added onto the bonnet and on the wings, and a set of three-part, double-spoke 20" RS-1 lightweight wheels.
Kicherer also installed a new coilover "Front Up" suspension system that improves the car’s handling and a stainless steel exhaust with four oval end pipes with an integrated valve control, giving the driver free reign to choose the kind of exhaust tone he prefers.[...]

Usually when people think of Underground Racing, they’re liable to think of extreme tuning kits for Lamborghini and Ferrari models because that’s what they are used to seeing. However, about a year and a half ago, Underground Racing announced the beginning of a tuning project for the beautiful Audi R8 V10, and now that kit has come to fruition in four different stages.
The new Audi R8 by Underground offers three different twin turbo engine upgrades, as well as a Race Version, to satiate the speed desires of R8 fanatics. The first stage will raise the output to 700 WHP on pump gas (93 octane) or 1,000 WHP on race fuel for a bargain price of $39,000, while the second stage puts out 850 WHP on pump gas or 1200 WHP on race fuel for $69,000. Project Kahn rolls out more tuning programs for some of the most desirable cars on the market than any other aftermarket company we know. So when the Frankfurt Motor Show rolled around, it was expected that the British tuning company would be in attendance to show off their latest programs.
One of these is the new Vesuvius program for the Porsche Cayenne. Comprising of styling and engine updates, the Vesuvius kit once again showcases just how good these guys are at what they do.
The most noticeable upgrade for this particular Cayenne is the new body kit that seamlessly blends in with the car’s white body finish. Among the items included in the kit are buffed up fenders, rows of horizontal and vertical LED headlights, and a new set of Project Kahn?s very own RS wheels. Meanwhile, the interior of the Cayenne has been dressed up with a top-quality bespoke treatment that can be tailor-made depending on the customer’s preference.[...]

Kahn Design has been pretty busy lately releasing at least one tuning package every week, even though most people’s eyes are caught up with the new toys at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This week is no different as Kahn has released a new tuning kit based on the Land Rover Range Rover. It’s called the Swiss edition and, as its name suggests, has been destined for Switzerland for use by patrol police.
This special police car will be painted mostly in black with a white standard hood and Kahn RS 22-inch wheels. A special custom interior will combine style and personality with a stylish police theme. It also seems as though this car will be offered in a different number of colors and designs to suit individual specifications.[...]
