Now that the MP4-12C is getting ready to be delivered to customers, McLaren used the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance to introduce ’McLaren Exclusive,’ the British supercar maker’s very own vehicle customization program.

With brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini launching their own vehicle customization programs, it was only a matter of time before McLaren followed suit, and they certainly didn’t wait long before joining in the customization ranks.

McLaren’s vehicle customization program will touch on the MP4-12C, as well as two other soon-to-be-announced supercars, to provide customers a variety of new features that can be outfitted to their supercar depending on their tastes and preferences. Among the modifications available for the MP4-12C - as shown by the customized MP4-12C that was previewed at Pebble Beach - include a custom Satin Orange paint finish, a slew of aerodynamic parts that have been lifted from the brand’s resident race car - the MP4-12C GT3 - and a host of carbon fiber details that can be used on various parts of the supercar.[...]

The latest generation of Audi's A6 Avant has received some aftermarket love from VW Group tuning specialist, ABT Sportsline, with the release of the AS6 package that includes both performance and styling upgrades.

The power gains are similar to those of the sedan model. The base 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel with 204HP gets a jump to 240HP, while the more potent version of the TDI with 245 factory ponies now makes 300-horsepower.[...]

The king is dead, long live the king! Mercedes SLR is out of production for quite some time now, but the fact it was a great car is beyond doubt. As a proof is the fact that even now, when Mercedes stopped producing it, tuners are still offering lots of attention.

The German tuner Wheelsandmore for example is not at their first upgrade for the SLR. They have also offered a tuning package last year, but we simply can not understand why after offering a 730 HP upgrade they now come with a 707 HP version.

Their latest version is called "Edition 707" - you can easily understand where the name comes from - includes a performance pack, a larger compressor pulley and an ecu upgrade. On the styling front, Kahn's California wears a set of forged Monza wheels in matt black measuring 21-inches up front and 22-inches at the back. Inside, new accessories and equipment include seats, steering wheel, instrument panel and infotainment system.[...]
