German tuner offers a power upgrade on the 3.0 liter diesel unit up to 300 PS (221 kW / 296 bhp) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque.[...]

Well known for its work on Mercedes-Benz cars, German tuner Carlsson has just revealed the details of its latest project, which is set to make its official public debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show this September.

The program targets the Mercedes SLS AMG model in both roadster and hard top form, and consists of a coilover suspension upgrade, a new set of wheels and some interior tweaks.

Taken separately, the kit consists of a lightweight aluminium coilover suspension with Littronic ...[...]

The Dodge Viper ACR is one of the fastest production cars around packing an 8.4-liter V10 with 600HP and 560 lb/ft (760 Nm) of torque that allows it to accelerate from 0-60 mph (96km/h) in less than 4.0 seconds. It has also proved its mettle by breaking lap records in famous and difficult tracks such as Laguna Seca and the Nürburgring.

But it's one thing going against a Corvette and totally different story when you're challenged by the likes of Koenigsegg and its CCXR that boasts a twin-supercharged V8 delivering close to 1,100-horsepower.[...]

Anderson Germany seems to have a thing for turning already superior sports cars into lean and mean beasts of the road with exquisite black exterior paint finishes and upgraded power outputs. Their most recent transformations have come for the Porsche Panamera and the Aston Martin DBS, but they are now revealing the GranTurismo S Superior Black Edition. Just like the previously spectacular tuning packages, the GranTurismo S Superior Black takes the standard model and adds the aggressiveness it needs with a matte black exterior finish and other upgraded features, as well as extra thump for the engine.

The body of the vehicle get a cool matte black paint job while the window frames, grill, and the rear logo are covered in a shiny black finish. Anderson Germany then covered the exterior mirrors, tailgate and roof ledges, and the lateral left and right air inlets in carbon fiber before finishing the vehicle off with a new set of 21" glossy black exclusive rims with carbon framing. The use of carbon fiber in these accessories has reduced the GranTurismo’s weight by a total of 28 lbs.[...]

 In its never ending to reach out to a hipper, younger audience, Scion joined forces with tuning shop Auto Werks of Northbrook and Chicago-based radio station B96, to trick out one of their listeners car during the B96 Pepsi Summerbash concert.

 Tuning outfit Anderson Germany has a new proposal for current owners of the Maserati GranTurismo S. The German workshop has developed a line of performance and styling upgrades under the name Superior Black Edition.

 Under the bonnet, the 4.7-liter V8 engine is boosted from 440-horses to 492HP via a software optimization program and a new custom exhaust system.[...]

Ever since its official launch, the most important update packages for the Audi A7 have come from MTM and Abt Sportsline. Now, Senner Tuning is getting into the game with their new tuning kit for the entry level sports car sporting a diesel engine.

The 3.0 liter V6 TDI found in the Audi A7 diesel variant has been tricked to deliver a total of 306 HP and a peak torque of 457 lbs-ft (up from the standard 245 HP and 368 lbs-ft). Top speed has also been increased to 174 mph. The engine has been combined with a stainless steel exhaust system with twin 90 mm (3.5 inch) tailpipes.[...]
