Typically, when we hear about vehicles climbing up to speeds of over 200 mph, we think of high performance vehicles like the Bugatti Veyron or the SSC Tuatara. Not once have we ever thought of a small car like the Audi A1 achieving such a feat. It was probably this assumption that led tuning firm, MTM, to completely make over the A1 so that it became a snarling speed machine, capable of hitting a top speed of 201 mph at the Nardo Highspeed Test.
Every year, modified supercars head on over to the Nardo test track to see what they are capable of, but this year, MTM?s Audi A1 decided to crash the party and show the 9FF Porsche 911 GT3, MKB McLaren SLR, G-Power BMW M3, and SpeedArt Porsche Cayenne Turbo just how it?s done. With an MTM tuning package consisting of various upgrades, the A1 delivers a total of 500 HP and 442 lb-ft of torque. 500 HP! When equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox and limited slip differential, the car will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of the aforementioned 201 mph.[...]

We've seen some insanely modified Nissan GT-R R35s, but Chicago-based tuning house AMS Performance, has really lifted the bar with its newest creation, the ALPHA 12.
The heavily tuned Nissan GT-R ALPHA 12, which is still in the development and testing phase, was placed on a dyno where it produced an incredible 1,309-horsepower and 994 lb-ft (1,384Nm) of peak torque at all four wheels![...]

Porsche tuning firm extraordinaire, RUF, is one of the best in the business at what it does. So much so, that they produce some of the fastest and most powerful Porsche upgrades on the planet.
The latest model of their Cayman-based CTR 3 is a perfect example of that. Already boasting two previous models, the CTR 3 is the epitome of how a Porsche Cayman should be tuned up. On its own, the German sports car is already capable of producing an output of 265 horsepower, thanks to a 2.9-liter inline-six engine, but RUF have put their talents to good use to give the Cayman the proper juicing up. This was done by completely redesigning the car’s look and replacing the existing engine with a more powerful 3.8-liter flat-six cylinder engine with a staggering output of 750 horsepower.[...]

One of Japan’s greatest sports cars, the Nissan GT-R, has been the subject of countless aftermarket programs. That being said, it shouldn’t be surprising that one more company is preparing arguably the most powerful GT-R project we’ve seen in recent time.
AMS Performance is no stranger to working with Godzilla, having most recently produced the insane Alpha 10 program that netted the GT-R with 1,100 horsepower. This time, the company’s upping the ante once again with the new Alpha 12 program that takes the GT-R’s output from 1,100 ponies all the way up 1,318 horsepower and 1,014 lb/ft of torque. Horses gone wild!
To make the car produce that much juice, AMS Performance took the GT-R’s 3.8-liter, twin-turbo engine and modified the system while also increasing its boost pressure. On top of that, AMS also went out and reinforced the block to ensure that the car’s engine could handle all the horses galloping underneath the hood.[...]
