Kicherer certainly outdid themselves this time. With a new tuning program for the Mercedes CLS 500 called the "Big Black One", the German tuning company has given us the full breadth of what the CLS is capable of. It’s got a cool nickname that immediately grabs your attention and a look that adds some aggression, but the best part is that it’s got pretty nasty performance upgrades that should make it more imposing than it already is.
On it’s own, this Mercedes already packs quite a mean punch, thanks to a 4.6-liter V8 engine that produces an output of 402 horsepower and 443 lb/ft of torque. But thanks to a software update and the addition of a new sports exhaust system, Kicherer was able to bump up the output to 463 horsepower and 509 lb/ft of torque.

How would you like to own a Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet that can smoke even the most powerful of exotics in the world? It sounds like we’re reaching considering that the car doesn’t really belong in the same exotic landscape as those devil-may-care machines. But once you see what German tuning company, Brabus, has cooked up, you’re going to have to pick your jaws up off the floor. Don’t feel too bad, though, because we just picked ours up too.[...]

We don’t know if this was what the Mamas and the Papas were talking about when they released their hit, California Dreaming, but this latest tuning package from Wheelsandmore would definitely warm us up on a Winter’s day. Apparently, the German tuner thought they could do better than Ferrari by tweaking this California’s engine, along with its exterior look, to come up with their California ’Dreamin’ package.
The ’Dreamin’ package starts off with a new removable, valve controlled exhaust system and an update to the ecu software of the 4,300 cc V8 Direct Injection engine. These changes boost power to 500 hp and 525 lb-ft of torque, up from the standard 460 hp and 357 lb/ft of torque. Other technical additions include an optional combination of 200 cell sports catalysts and premuffler replacement tubes, handcrafted by Wheelsandmore.[...]

You know how people immediately assume that combining elements from jaw-dropping vehicles and mashing them all up spontaneously nets them a wondrous piece of automotive engineering? Sure, it works sometimes. But for the most part, we?re left scratching our heads while looking at this ungodly sight, bemoaning the sheer lack of creative foresight by the people who built it.
This is the Predator Xtreme, a car that could have been built when somebody put a Ferrari Enzo, a Lamborghini Reventon, a McLaren F1, and an Infinity G35 into a giant blender, put it on full blast, and watched as this piece of work come out.[...]

The German tuners over at Lumma Design are taking yet another stab on the BMW X6, this time, on the most powerful diesel model, the xDrive40d that is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six delivering 306-horses and 600Nm (442 lb-ft) of peak torque in factory tune.
After Lumma Design?s people get their way with the diesel unit by updating the software and adding a custom exhaust system, output is increased to a more hearty 340-horses and 670Nm (494 lb-ft).

Kicherer has presented their take on the Mercedes CLS 500 with this CLS Edition Black.
Power from the base V8 unit is rated at 408PS (402bhp/300kW) and 600 Nm of torque, but the German tuning house has boosted that to 470PS (463bhp/345kW) and 690Nm with a software update and the installation of a new sports exhaust system. Kicherer have also added their PowerConverter to the model which helps the car thrust almost immediately as the driver hits the accelerator.[...]

Miami, Florida is more than just sun, sand, and South Beach. It?s known for those things of course - not to mention all the hot people that live there - but there?s one more thing for which Miami is starting to get known: a burgeoning auto scene.
Plenty of the world?s most exotic and expensive supercars run through the roads of Miami and where variety seems to be no problem, a certain auto company is looking to make heads turn with their own custom-build supercar, the Miami GT.[...]
