German aftermarket specialist Carlsson released a new tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet, offering 20 percent more power, a new aero package and interior improvements. All these are available for the E 350 CDI model, whose 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine delivers 231 horsepower out of the box. As expected, Carlsson didn't think that was enough, so it developed the C-Tronic Diesel Power CD28-35 REVO package that consists mainly of ECU remapping

Lamborghini is preparing to replace the current Gallardo in 2013 with an even more powerful car rumored to be called the Cabrera, but until that happens, we’ll be seeing tons of tuning packages for the current model. In fact, a lot of them will probably come from SR Auto Group who seem to gravitate towards the vehicle in every other project they undertake. Their latest kit is called the Devastator and, contrary to its title, doesn’t offer any additional power to disintegrate the competition.[...]

German tuning specialists, Wheelsandmore, have taken an Aston Martin Vantage V8 as their next project, giving the British supercar a well-rounded set of upgrades that include a new set of wheels, a new suspension, and a slight increase in power.
As the name of their company suggests, Wheelsandmore is no stranger to having some of the best rims on the market. For the Vantage V8, they decided to dress it up with a new set of handcrafted 21" three-piece 6Sporz² forged rims wrapped in 55/30/21 tires at the front, and 295/25/21 tires at the back. To go with the new set of gorgeous rims, Wheelsandmore also gave the Vantage V8 a new suspension kit courtesy of KW that comes with a rebound and compression adjustable stainless steel coilover suspension variant 3. Lastly, Wheelsandmore gave the supercar a new 200 sport catalysts and flip-controlled exhaust system, giving the Vantage’s 4.7 Liter V8 engine an increased output of 460 horsepower and 369 lb/ft of torque, up from the standard model’s 420-horsepower output.[...]

In the high-octane, torque-twisting world of the drag strip, a paradigm shift is slowly taking shape with the most unlikely of cars leading the way. Unassuming look aside, the ?Black Current? Volkswagen Beetle EV by Oliver Young is an electric vehicle that has done some serious damage on the drag strip becoming the first street-bodied EV to post a nine-second, quarter-mile time. That time looks more impressive when you take into account the fact that this little Beetle once destroyed a Tesla Roadster on a drag strip.[...]

Project Kahn is one of those tuning companies that never runs out of tuning projects. A few weeks after it released the Maybach 57 Wedding Commemorative Edition, the British tuning firm headed by Afzal Kahn has another one in the oven. This time, it?s an upgraded Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe that comes with plenty of aesthetic modifications.
Adding on to what is already a high-brow look, Project Kahn gave the Phantom a shadow-line finish to go with clear side lights, head light surrounds, window surrounds, rear light surrounds, and under floor lighting. On top of that, the British tuner added a bullet resistant glass to fit into their high-security profile. And to round out the aesthetic goodness, Project Kahn fitted the Phantom with a new set of diamond-polished 22? Kahn Silver Mist Rolls Royce wheels.[...]

You may or may not like Vilner's aesthetic proposals, but you?ll have to agree that Bulgarian studio is a very good example of what a company from a relatively small country with no background in its niche can achieve with some hard work and smart yet efficient marketing tactics. You see, instead of focusing on the local market and waiting for someone to discover the firm?s products, over the past year or so Vilner has been aggressively promoting every tune it has worked on. We don?t know if this strategy has translated into an overseas income, but it has put the company on the map, and that?s something worth noting.[...]
