Ferrari 360 Modena with Linfenfelter performance

Photographer Jason Thorgalsen has the ability to photograph some of the hottest cars on the planet, but his recent trip to one guy’s garage in California lead him into a world where high end sports cars reign supreme and alternative options for performance don’t fall short of massive creativity.
We don’t know the name of the man behind the garage, but this guy has two 1999 Ferrari 360 Modenas just chilling in his garage - one for him and one for his wife. Apparently, he was zipping around a local racetrack when the standard V8 found in the sports car blew out. Not wanting to shell out the dough for another Ferrari engine - or maybe just because he’s cool enough to find other methods for power - the owner of the Ferrari decided to head on over to Lingenfelter to make good use of their Chevy-sourced 427-ci Lingenfelter Performance-built power plant. This engine powers out over 1,000 HP compared to the 400bhp at 8500rpm and 275lb-ft at 4750rpm found in the standard engine. Yeah, this guy just became one of our idols.[...]

Mercedes SL65 AMG by Inden Design

The Mercedes SL65 AMG has been around the block for quite some time now, but there seems to be no end in sight for aftermarket packages for the German drop-top sports car. Can?t say that we?re surprised at all. The SL65 AMG has always been one of our favorite Mercedes? cars and after finding out what Inden Design did to it, it just made our itch that much harder to scratch.
The German tuning firm that?s made a name for their impressive programs on Mercedes vehicles has come out with another winner. Inden Design?s aerodynamic program comes with a new wide body kit that takes the appearance ? or at least closely resembles the look ? of the SL65 AMG Black Series. Complementing the wide body kit are other new features, including new front and rear bumpers, a boot lid spoiler, new side skirts, a carbon fiber roof, wider wheel arches, a new bonnet with two air vents on either side, a new grille, a new exhaust system, and a set of 20? alloy wheels wrapped in 265/30 tires on the front and 325/25 tires at the back. Inside, Inden Design left the changes to a minimum, opting only to dress the steering wheel and some parts of the instrument panel in Alcantara.[...]

Bentley Continental GT by Prior Design

Anyone taking on the task of tuning a Bentley Continental GT Convertible better know what they are doing if they want to end up making the car look even more luxurious than it already is. Thankfully, Prior Design has had a little experience in this department with tuning projects such as the BMW M5 F10 and the Mercedes E-Class Coupe. Their newest project reshapes the convertible with aerodynamic pieces and some interior modifications.
The aerodynamic kit includes a new front bumper with an integrated carbon fiber bottom lip that reduces the updraft at the front axle. It also includes two air inlets on the hood, a massive sports grille with two carbon-fiber air outlets on top, a set of traditional side sills, and a new bumper with integrated diffuser for the rear. The final touch has been provided by a stainless steel sports exhaust system cleanly integrated into the tail. For the interior, the tuner jazzed it up a bit with wooden decorations and exclusive carbon fiber insertions.[...]

Abarth 500 by Anzom

Aznom?s work on the Abarth 500 isn?t so much about the added output the little Italian hatch gets ? 230 ponies for good measure ? but more so on how they did it. You don?t get to wake up everyday and see an engine placed inside a clear, transparent box, do you? Yeah, we didn?t think so.
Traditionally a front-engine car, the folks over at Aznom decided to turn the Abarth hatch into a mid-engine, rear-drive vehicle, one that harkens back to the days of the original 500. Even better than rearranging the car?s overall set-up was the fact that the tuning company also tuned the car’s 1.4-liter turbo four engine all the way up to 230 horsepower and 243 lb/ft of torque. Figures may not mean much in a world littered with 300+ horsepower sports cars, but for a tiny hatch that weighs less than a ton, that?s a mighty impressive number.[...]

Range Rover Spirito DiVino by Anzom
Aznom may not be a first-name tuning company in the eyes of many, but you can’t deny the fact that these guys are making a lot of headlines these days. Fresh off their works on the Audi A1 and the Abarth 500C, the aftermarket company has released their latest project: the Range Rover Spirito Divino.
Based on the 4.4-liter TD V8 engine with 313 horsepower Range Rover Vogue SE, the special edition SUV doesn’t look the part of a tuned up vehicle, but all you need to do is go take a look at the luggage compartment at the back to see where Aznom, together with wine publication Spirito DiVino, worked their magic.
What used to be ample compartment space at the back has been turned into a wine cabinet. Two, in fact. The specially built compartment has two air-conditioned cabinets that are capable of carrying as many as 12 bottles of wine. On top of that, there are two custom trunks inside the Range Rover covered in the leather seats and carrying five bottles of red wine with a matching set of wine glasses. To keep up with the ’wine’ theme of the car, Aznom dressed up the bodywork and the interior with a wine-colored finish, complete with clear-contrast piping on the seats.[...]

Chevrolet Camaro SS by Tintek

Chrome finishes may not be as stylish as its matte counterpart, but for the most part, the former has a way of catching our attention - for better or worse. Some cars dressed in this outlandish and shiny garb are nothing more than puke-inducing examples of how too much of something can really go awry. But on the rare occasion that a chrome finish works on a car, it’s really a sight to behold.
Tintek.cz, a Czech company that specializes in wrapping sports cars have come out with their latest project: a chrome vinyl-wrapped Chevrolet Camaro SS. If we had a dollar for every time we said that the body finish on this car looks amazing, we’d be rich folks by the end of the day. This specific application is priced at $10,000 and is a brand new technology that is only available from a small number of companies at this time. Tintek says they have been developing ways to make the application process easier, but state that it is still a very difficult process even with their experienced technicians. The full application takes 4-5 days (with four technicians on the project) and they are currently working on expanding their color chrome options. As of right now, there are eight chrome colors available: silver, gold, blue, black, orange, green, red, and violet.[...]
