SR Automotive Group has been known for creating unique and stylish rides for those that already drive some of the best cars on the planet. The owner and founder of SR Auto Group, Tony Yuen, wanted to create a unique experience when it comes to tuning high-end luxury cars. The SR in the name stands for ?Style and Refinement? which the company has been able to stick with throughout the years.

The cars that end up coming from this Vancouver based shop are modified tastefully and express each individual?s personality. One of their most recent projects was to create the ultimate Lamborghini Gallardo LP560, nicknamed ?Erebos.? The LP560 is the entry level model of the Gallardo, but its 5.2-liter V10 still creates 560 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 398 ft-lbs of torque at 6,500 rpm.[...]

 

 

Easter Sunday isn?t scheduled until April 24th, 2011, but that didn?t stop the organizers of the 45th annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari from holding the event a week earlier on April 16th, 2011 in Utah.

In what has become an annual tradition for Jeep and Chrysler?s aftermarket company Mopar, the two brands have used the Moab Easter Jeep Safari event to introduce a line of customized Jeep concepts to the gathered crowd in attendance.

This year, Jeep and Mopar are introducing six new concepts to the event, one of which is the quirky-named Wrangler ?Pork Chop?. Mopar took what began as a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport and shaved off some weight by dropping many elements found on the standard model, including the doors, the tailgate, the bumpers, the carpet, the sway bars, and the top, among other things.[...]

The impressive SLS AMG ?Gullwing? may have long replaced the venerable SLR McLaren in the Mercedes-Benz?s ranks, but the tuning world is not about let go of the Stuttgart firm?s previous supercar. Edo Competition has revealed a new take on the SLR McLaren called the Black Arrow.

Edo Karabegovic and his team over at Edo Competition started out with the SLR McLaren?s body, which gains a stealthy looking flat black coating and an overdose of red livery combined with new black colored 21-inch alloy wheels with a red ring that are shod in high-performance sport tires. This particular Mercedes C63 AMG is a perfect example of that. Already packing an impressive 451 horsepower, the owner of this C63 AMG, Keith Brantley, thought that he could get in touch with a tuning company and squeeze a little more juice on his high-powered Mercedes. Jeep Wrangler is no doubt a very cool car, for those of you who enjoy these kind of cars. But what do you think about a Wrangler pick-up? Sounds even better, don’t you agree? Called JK-8 Independence this specil Wrangler takes its inspiration from the 1980?s, Mopar and features a 50 inches long bed, while the width between wheel wells is 44 inches.

In order to create the pick-up style bed for the outside cargo, the Wrangler has been transformed into a two-seater model, with all the interior parts behind the front seats being removed. The JK-8 Independence has been equipped with a Mopar/Dynatrac ProRock 44 front axle and stock Dana 44 rear axle, a 4.5-inch long-arm suspension kit and 37-inch BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2 tires.[...]

Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is a car with almost no competition on the market. But things are about to change now that Mopar has announced the Ram Runner Stage II for the annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari which takes place April 16-24. The Ram Runner Stage II kit will be available for any 2009-2011 Ram 1500 models starting next month. Prices will be as follow: pre-runner stage II lift kit - $13,270; off-road front bumper - $1,250; off-road rear tire carrier $1,010; off-road front fenders $1,020; off-road rear fenders - $1,350.

The Ram Runner Stage II features a HEMI 5.7-liter V-8 engine; larger tires, additional ground clearance and a sophisticated suspension system capable of withstanding tremendous impact. Inspired by trophy trucks, steel front fenders and rear bed-sides are replaced with fiberglass layered in the Liquid Metal Mopar racing scheme. John Hennessey is no stranger to the world of auto tuning. After all, he does have a company that?s considered as one of the best in the business. The company, Hennessey Performance Engineering is so good at what it does that it was actually able to build it?s own supercar based on the Lotus Elise: the Venom GT. Not a lot of tuners can stake the same claim, too.

In this particular video, John Hennessey is sitting behind the wheel of another one of his company?s creations, the 2011 Hennessey ZR750 Corvette. Based on the Corvette ZR1, the ZR750 was born from a special tuning kit the aftermarket company gave to the ZR1, one that nets the American sports car an improved engine output of 755 horsepower, an increase from the standard model?s 638 horsepower output. The increased power of the Hennessey ZR750 also translates to improved lap times, including a 0-60 mph time of just 2.8 seconds compared to the standard ZR1?s time of 3.4 seconds.[...]
