Bulgaria?s very own tuning firm, Vilner, has graced our pages recently with some pretty interesting tuning set-ups for the Mitsubishi Evolution X, the Mercedes SL 63 AMG, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT600. Well don?t look now but, apparently, these guys are far from finished with their projects.
This time around, the Bulgarian aftermarket tuning company decided to play a little dress-up with the Mercedes ML350, giving the German SUV a number of fancy exterior and interior upgrades. As if Merc SUVs need further styling, Vilner gave it a whirl nonetheless.
Among the features included in their exterior program include a new set of custom LED headlights, new black-chromed elements where it used to only be chrome, giving the car a little darker treatment, and, subsequently, an edgier look to it. In addition to that, the same black-chromed finish was used on the rims, further complementing the SUV?s body paint and giving it a nice black-and-white contrast.[...]

The Cadillac Escalade serves many purposes for the brand. For starters, it is their largest offering in the SUV segment and has become a best seller. Ever since it was first introduced as a meagerly disguised GMC Yukon the car has been a hit. It effectively saved the Cadillac brand in association with their razor edge styling that is now seen on all the models in the lineup. A favorite choice of celebrities, musicians, and athletes alike, the Escalade has become a status symbol and was immediately accepted by the ?in crowd.?
As time has gone on the Escalade lineup has come to include three models with a pickup and extended wheelbase version being added. As the SUV market has been hit hard by the recession, the Escalade too suffered, but has remained alive. Its closest competition in nearly every aspect, the Lincoln Navigator, has struggled much more than the Cadillac and will cease production sooner rather than later.[...]

With summer teasing us from just around the corner, we thought this photo shoot of a Ferrari California with a smoking hot model was the perfect way to start our week. Peeling our eyes away from model, Laura Elisa, for just one moment finds us with a matte white California decked out in a new set of Savini wheels (21x9 front and 22x11.5 rear) with a carbon fiber outer rim. This outer rim is color matched with the wheels’ gloss black face. Add Ms. Elisa back in to the picture and you get a deadly combination perfect for the long summer beach rides.
As for the engine, no modifications were needed to make this Ferrari beach ready. The California already comes with a 460 HP V8 engine launches the sports car up to 60 mph in less than 4.0 seconds.[...]

American tuner Baldwin Motion has announced one of the most impressive tuning upgrades for the new Chevrolet Camaro SS we have seen. It is appropriately called "Fantastic Five" and consists of five different upgrade levels with power ranging from 525 to 800 HP.
The base version is called the SS-427 and includes a power boost up to 525 HP, up from the standard 426 HP. Not only do you get a 99 HP bump in power, but the SS-427 package also comes with a new exhaust system, race prepared aluminum intakes, a titanium intake, and cast aluminum pistons. Aesthetically, the package brings a new set of wheels, custom paint, and perforated seat inserts to the table. Take it one step further and you have the Phase III 427 with 600 HP of upgrade goodness. This package is pretty much just like the SS-427 version, but with a custom Redline R3 camshaft and an American Racing high-efficiency tubular exhaust system.[...]

The founder of Hamann Motorsports, Richard Hamann, has passed away after an elongated battle with lung cancer. Most popular for his tuning company, he also was an accomplished race car driver in his own right. Friends remember his passion for the automobile and tuning engines. When he created Hamann in 1986 he was already famous for tuning German automobiles better than anyone else.
Hamann Motorsports has made the statement, ?Richard Hamann was a craftsman, an artist and his memory will continue to prevail in all the cars he built. In the honour of Richard, The Hamann Motorsport team will go on with running the company according to the wish of the maestro himself.?
Throughout his illustrious career Hamann competed in over 700 racing events. Of those he crossed the finish line in a top 3 spot 300 times. He recorded victories in 103 of them. Furthermore, Hamann was an integral part of the BMW M1 racing legend and won 3 Touring Car trophies behind the wheel of one of these mystic machines. As his racing career began to wind down, the tuning business expanded rapidly. Starting with what he knew best, BMW, the company was specific to German manufacturers competing against the likes of Brabus and AC Schnitzer. As the company has grown and become the juggernaut we know today, they have expanded to Lamborghini, Land Rover, Maserati, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Mini, and Ferrari tuning in addition to the classic German brands.[...]
