Barely a week has passed since BMW first pulled the covers off of the 2012 6-Series Coupe and we already have the first tuning company that’s prepared a new aerodynamic package for the car. Say what you want about German tuning firm Prior Design, but they certainly are capable of burning the midnight oil to prepare a program for the 6er faster than you can say ’BMW’.

Judging by the images lined up in a collage fashion, Prior Design looks to have given the 6-Series Coupe a number of new changes, including a redesigned front bumper fascia that’s adorned with LED driving lights inside the air intakes. There’s also a lower lip spoiler that looks to have been made out of carbon fiber and a new bonnet that boasts of air vents on both sides. The fenders on the sides also appear to have been redesigned with new side grilles and side skirts while the rear bumper fascia has also been modified to go with new carbon fiber exhaust tips and a small diffuser. Rounding out the aerodynamic modifications on the 6-Series Coupe is a set of matte black-finished wheels that we’re estimating to be about 18" to 20".[...]

Life goes on for Hamann Motorsports after the death of its founder last week as the German tuning house has introduced its first set of accessories for the new BMW 6-Series Coupe and Convertible models. Following the recent passing of Hamann Motorsports founder, Richard Hamann, the company is abiding by his wishes of continuing with business as usual by releasing some details of their first tuning package for the recently launched BMW 6-Series Convertible.

Since only the first details of the package are being presented, it comes as no surprise that Hamann has left out any details in regards to the engine. What they have stated is that the BMW 6-Series Convertible will receive some aerodynamic updates, including new front and rear spoilers, side skirts, and, of course, Hamann’s EDITION RACE ANODIZED and ANNIVERSARY EVO set of alloys.[...]

Owners of the 2008-2010MY Dodge Challenger will be relieved to know that their cars aren?t going to be left out on the tuning arms race of later year models after noted tuning firm Lingenfelter announced a performance package for these specific Challenger models. Breath easy now, folks.

The supercharger package for the Challenger will include a Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger in black powdercoat finish, a 160-degree thermostat, upgraded fuel injectors, and a high-flow intake system.

Lingenfelter?s Dodge Challenger Supercharger Package will be available for the HEMI 5.7-liter and 6.1-liter engines and according to Lingenfelter, tests done on the 6.1-liter HEMI engine produced 500 rear-wheel horsepower and 450 lb/ft of torque.[...]
