While Underground Racing admits that Ferrari has done a great job with the 458 Italia, the North Carolina-based tuner wants to spice up the Italian supercar as ?something?s missing? from the stock setup. And what may that "something" be, we hear you ask? Why a turbo kit, or even better, how about two? Underground Racing will develop a Stage 1...

 

 

A few years after it released a GT3 race version for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560, Reiter Engineering is back with a new GTS-spec Gallardo: the 2011 Lamborghini LP600+ GT3. Based on the Gallardo LP560-4, Reiter Engineering tweaked the supercar and turned it into a race-spec version that will compete in GT3 races for the 2011 season.

Reiter Engineering is no stranger to producing race-winning GT3 racers. Their previous work ? the Gallardo LP560 GT3 ? sold more than 50 examples worldwide while also dominating races in the GT3 class of various racing series all over the world.

At the exterior the modified Lamborghini Gallardo features carbon fiber body kit which consists of carbon fiber front bonnet, front bumper cover ($4,500) aerodynamic underbody panels, rear wing ($6,800) and rear diffuser ($4,500). The guys from Underground Racing really do have some fantastic projects coming out of their North Carolina-based firm and their latest tuning project will surely match up to the newly-formed high expectations for the twin-turbo loving tuners. Most recently known for the lavish twin-turbo kits for the Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago, Underground Racing is in the process of slapping on another luscious turbo kit to a different kind of supercar: the Ferrari 458 Italia.

 

Tuning package includes a new body kit and a modest power boost to 580 PS (427 kW / 572 bhp) and 575 Nm (424 lb-ft) of torque.

German tuner provides an aerodynamic kit for the Cayenne II with a carbon fiber bonnet as well as 23-inch wheels.
