BMW X5 xDrive 35d by HartgeExtremely elegant - but not extravagant - that's the new outfit for the BMW X5 xDrive35d from HARTGE. All exterior components are characterised by clear lines. Thus, the front spoiler, the diffuser-like rear skirt and the two-part side sills in PUR-RIM form a harmonious ensemble that, naturally, comes with a ABE homologation (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis - ABE).
Thanks to the HARTGE sports spring set with level control system for the rear axle, which lowers the vehicle by up to 30 mm, the X5 does not look like a SUV. This impression is underscored by the set of ‘BRILLANT CLASSIC 2' wheels. These 22 inch rims for ultra-wide tyres - 295/30 ZR 22 at the front and 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear - are the ideal match for the sporting four-wheel drive car with appropriate
HARTGE emblems. Details such as carbon casings for exterior mirrors and stainless steel tail pieces with oval tail pipes that can be connected to the standard exhaust system underscore the sporting nature of the car.
This is based on a 3-litre diesel engine producing 328 hp (241 kW) at 4400 rpm. With such a forceful power plant, the X5 xDrive35d from HARTGE needs only 6.1 seconds for the standing start to 100 km/h, i.e., significantly faster than the series X5, which takes seven seconds. The extra power is also reflected by a higher top speed, which rises from 235 to 244 km/h.

BMW ALPINA B7 Bi-TurboThis will be the 20th Tokyo Motor Show that ALPINA, in partnership with its Japanese importer of over three decades, NICOLE Automobiles, has partaken in with its own exhibition stand.
The first car that was delivered to Japan in 1979, a BMW ALPINA B7 Turbo, is still being driven to this day. Chance has it that the 3000th car bound for Tokyo left the factory gates this year, after precisely 30 years.
Furthermore, the new ALPINA flagship, the BMW ALPINA B7 Bi-Turbo long-wheelbase, will be officially shown to the public for the very first time. This is were it the numbers get even more curious because it turns out ALPINA has altogether delivered 330 7 Series to Japan.
Also shown will be the BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo, in itself quite remarkable because it is the first clean performance diesel that is available in the Japanese market, a market in which diesel engines could, up to now, only be found in trucks.
Enough reasons hence for ALPINA to again be present at the Tokyo Motor Show, especially considering that the turn out of other European manufacturers is very thin indeed – with Lotus being the only other one

BMW M3 Estate by Manhart Racing Manhart Racing has unveiled a V10-powered BMW "M3" E91 Estate.
Now, let that sink in for a second. BMW doesn't make an M3 Estate, and Manhart equipped one with the M5's 5.0-liter V10 engine instead of the M3's 4.0-liter V8! If that isn't insane enough, the company also added revised engine electronics and a HJS stainless-steel exhaust system (with two 200-cell racing catalytic convertors) which allows the engine to produce 550 PS.
Backed up by various M-spec parts (it uses the seven-speed SMG transmission and 100% limited slip differential from the M5 E60, while the axles and steering system come from the M3 E90), the M3 Estate rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, before topping out at 324 km/h (201 mph).
Other performance tweaks include a Bilstein PSS10 coilover suspension, a Stoptech braking system (with six-piston calipers and 380mm brake discs up front / four-piston calipers and 355mm brake discs out back), and RÄD Monza three-part forged wheels wrapped in Hankook S1 Evo tires.
While the performance is mind boggling, the styling is fairly typical. The exterior receives a traditional M3 body kit, while the interior boasts leather and Alcantara upholstery, carbon fiber trim, and heated sport seats.
If you like what you see, be prepared to send Manhart a check for €120,000 ($177,955 USD).

Nissan 370Z by Senner Senner Tuning has a new preliminary tuning package for the Nissan 370 Z Coupe. The Whitelady, a name reminscent of Z car heritage like the Fairlady, is already a competent tool. But we know there's always more to squeeze out. Using the same 3.7-litre V6 Senner has upped power by 15kW (21hp) from the standard 244kW (331hp) to 259kW (352hp). The engineers did this by installing a new Invidia stainless steel exhaust system with improved air flow and larger tailpipes (101mm diameter). More performance is currently being developed. Technical changes include a lower suspension system - 50mm up front and 45mm at the rear, adjustable compression damping and an increased track width. The wheels are light alloys measuring 9x20 at the front and 10x20 at the rear. They come in either Racing White or Matt Black Polish. Fitted tyres measure 245/35 R20 and 275/30 R20 respectively.
Senner is currently working on a body kit that consists of carbon fibre accessories, a front apron, a rear apron and a rear spoiler. Stay tuned.

GEMBALLA GT Wheels for Panamera
Gemballa is still developing the Mistrale Panamera based on Porsche's four-door sedan. Showcased here instead is a set of wheels fitted in the Panamera. The tuner's website states that they come in two styles; a 22-inch GT Sport wheel with tyre sizes 265/30/22 at the front and 315/25/22 on the rear, as well as the 22inch GT Sport - Rs with some riveting on the outside edge available in 22 and 20-inch.
TechArt might have stolen the march on other tuners by being the first to present their Panamera tuning programme at the recent 2009 IAA, but Gemballa is not waiting around for others to do thesame. Hopefully, at the coming Essen Motor Show we will know exactly what its engineers are cooking.
