Never quite understood the logic behind the creation of stupendously powerful off-roaders with supercar-like performance, but maybe that's exactly what makes them so attractive to those that can afford them: they don't make any sense to the rest of us... Hamann's latest take on the Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG fits perfectly in this category of vehicles.
As if the factory model's supercharged V8 with 507HP wasn't powerful enough, the German tuner performed its magic upgrades to bump output to 600HP and 782Nm or 577 lb-ft of torque. The modifications result to a 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time of 5.1 seconds and a maximum speed of 261 km/h or 163mph. That's compared to the standard G55 AMG's 5.5 second sprint time and 210km/h or 131mph electronically governed top speed.

The first refined Mercedes finished in the history of the vehicle specialist from Haiger. No question, the S-Class from 1983 is imperative as a milestone for Mercedes-Benz, which was completely rebuilt by INDEN design in 1991. Still today the design constructed by INDEN Design excited.
The current appearance is really impressive. Even at walking pace, the car looks impressive athletic. The front greets wide and very deep. The distinctive features of the S-Class with a star on the bonnet, subtly decorated in black. This SE plays to the gallery - not harmless - but with dynamic power, like exciting sports cars do.

The M version of the BMW Z4 is famously known by nature for being anything but underpowered, since the chassis of the sports convertible already has a heck of a lot of work with the 343 HP and the forward thrust in the lower gears could last forever.
As is generally known however, the sport oriented motorist can never have enough power at his command. Sufficient cause for Günther Manhart, who by now has over 25 years experience in rebuilding BMW engines - a first for Europe - to transplant a brand new, much stronger heart into the Z4. The transplantation of the ten cylinder engine from the current M5 generation into the narrow engine bay of the roadster was anything but a walk in the park and it earned the Manhart Racing engineers quite a few grey hairs. Nevertheless: everything fitted in the end and now the fire of a 5.0 litre V10 engine with an impressive output of 550 HP blazes above the front axle of the Z4. A catalytic converter, a modified DME electronic control unit and the removal of the factory-set V-Max restriction up to 250 km/h are part of the rebuild. Consistent to the M5 V10 engine Manhart Racing has treated the Z4 to an original M5 E60 6 gear manual transmission which includes a Fichtel & Sachs clutch and a M5 E60 differential. An AC Schnitzer stainless steel exhaust system with four muffler tips which was fitted with HJS racing catalytic converters caters for a perfect V10 sound at the rear.

Lumma Design of Germany has come out with some pretty radical creations over the past years such as the BMW M5 CLR 500 RS and the CLR X650 GT. This time, however, the German tuner decided to decided to take a more subtle approach to customization with its new Mercedes-Benz E-Class based, E50 CLR sports package. Surprisingly, Lumma's bodykit looks like it could have come straight out from Merc's factory.
Forget about huge fender flares and awkward looking spoilers. The -dare we say it- classy bodykit includes a new front apron with integrated daytime running lights (LEDs optional), unobtrusive side skirts, a roof spoiler attached on the rear windshield, a new rear bumper that houses the diffuser and a new Carbon/Kevlar trunk lid with an integrated lip spoiler.

The Fiat 500 Abarth is currently the head in the range of Fiat. Those who wait for a really fast 500 will be satisfied as soon as this athlete passes through the school of capacity of tuner Karl Schnorr Kraftfahrzeuge.
But one step after the other!
Schnorr leverages the visual appearance up by using sporty parts. The aluminium rims from OZ in red (Seria Rossa) and in size 7x17" are worth 1.090,00 Euro fitting and vehicle inspection registryincluded. An improvement for sure, the "normal" Abarth looks much more athletic.

The hotly anticipated 2010 Opel Astra is still a couple of months away from showrooms but that hasn't deterred German tuning firm Irmscher, which specializes in Opel products, from being the first tuner to develop a sporty styling package for the compact hatch. There's no official announcement at the time being, but the photos reveal that the initial kit includes a front spoiler lip, side skirts, a new front grille and a rear apron that makes room for four tailpipes.
The German tuner also created specific alloy wheels that are said to be offered in sizes 18- to 20-inches. Buyers should also expect various interior treats such as aluminum pedals and unique mats along with a lowering sport kit.
Irmscher will reveal its styling package for the 2010 Opel Astra at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.

Combining the best of two worlds, that is what PIECHA Design from Rottweil in Baden-Württemberg does with its Avalange RS reconstruction: Here it combines the R230's classic four-eyed face with the fresh design of the 2008 facelift. The front is dominated by a one-lamella grill which is clearly flatter in comparison to the serial model and its enlarged Mercedes star gives the car a more dynamic look. In addition to the fog lights with chrome rings, LED daytime running lights are built into the new front skirt. There is also an optional Parktronic system for the front and back spoilers. Chrome fins on the air outlet of the bonnet and on the side of the car highlight the love of detail. Dynamically designed side skirts with reverse air inlets and the continuously embedded grid give the rear a new style. The striking diffuser the middle front spoiler lips are offered with optional carbon fibre and are both bordered by the double tail pipe of the roaring PIECHA Quadro sport rear muffler. Alternatively, the stainless steel tail ends are also available separately for welding. A discreet rear spoiler lip on the boot lid gives the appearance of a perfectly aerodynamic finish.
