Bavaria's Motoren Technik Mayer, or simply MTM, has launched a new tuning package for the Bentley Continental GT, GTC, Flying Spur, GT Speed, GTC Speed, and Continental Supersports models. Dubbed Birkin Edition, the package includes a two-stage engine kit that helps boost the twin-turbocharged W12's output to 635HP or 650HP, the latter producing a peak toque figure of 795Nm or 586-lbs/ft. MTM claims that with the 650HP kit, the Continental GT shaved three seconds off the standard car's lap time on the short Hockenheim circuit, and three seconds in the 0 to 200 km/h sprint time, which was achieved in 15.9 seconds.
In addition to the engine upgrades, MTM's Birkin Edition package includes a new four-pipe exhaust system and a suspension kit that lowers the ride height (depending on the model) up to 25mm up front and 35mm at the rear, plus a new 6-caliper brake system for the front wheels. A chrome grille and a set of 21-inch 'Bimoto' lightweight alloy wheels complete the package that starts from €20,000 or about $28,200 with today's exchange rates.

Even the most recent BMW M3 with its 420HP V8 engine can't escape from the tuning claws of G-Power. However, if you've been following the latest news from the German tuning firm, you will probably be surprised with the somewhat modest upgrades that G-Power has incorporated into the M3 Coupe Tornado. The most significant change concerns the addition of tailor-made 'light' supercharger from ASA with a moderate 0,3 bar boost. Along with a new intercooler and a performance exhaust system, the 4.0-liter V8's output increases from 420HP and 400Nm to 500HP and 480Nm (354-lbs/ft).
G-Power says that the supercharged M3 Coupe with the 6-speed manual gearbox can accelerate from standstill to 200km/h (124mph) in just 13.5 seconds compared to the standard M3's time of 15.8 seconds. Customers can opt for the removal of the electronic speed limiter, in which case the M3 Coupe Tornado can reach a top speed in excess of 320km/h or +199mph..

Hamann does not discriminate. That is to say, the German tuner will work on any brand deemed suitable to its vision. Recent various tuning packages include the BMW X6 and 7-Series, McLaren SLR, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and most recently one for the Bentley GT Speed.
Rolls Royce is not immune to these visions of Hamann and that is why the two cars seen here came into existence. Both the Phantom and the two-door Drophead got special Hamman treatment. Not much detail was tossed our way but we can disclose that the wheels have gone from the standard 21-inch cast aluminium to 23-inches.
Maximum power has also been increased from a mere 460hp (338kW) to 535hp (394kW). Peak torque received a boost too, from 720Nm to 835Nm. The top speed then improves to 300km/h.
A highlighted interior element is the Hamann sports steering wheel which was made specifically for the Phantom.

Although it does little the improve upon the already stellar looks of the standard C63 AMG wagon, in the area of power, horses are plentiful. There's 585, in fact. As for our friend Newton, there's plenty of him as well, with 690 Nm of torque all awaiting your eager right foot. Together, they'll propel you to a top speed of some 202 mph, while a limited slip differential with a 60 percent locking rate ensures optimum power transfer to the road. To increase handling, a new sport suspension system has been incorporated into the V63RS, as has a high performance brake system and new 20-inch wheels (9x20 and 10,5x20, 245/30 and 285/25). Inside, TV/DVD unit, and whatever else your heart desires.

Outrageous? You bet. Controversial? Sure. Ferrari blasphemy? Quite possibly. But come on, it's not like you get the chance every day to see an insane project like this. Created by a bunch of crazy Italians at Nimik, the car you see pictured above combines the modified body of the iconic French Citroen 2CV Fourgonnette bread-van with the chassis and 375bhp 3.5-liter V8 engine of a Ferrari F355! The Prancing Horse-Double Chevron crossbreed took around 1,500 man hours to complete and cost approximately €180,000 or the U.S. equivalent of $250,000.
Understandably, the project was no easy task as the two cars share nothing in common other than the fact that they come equipped with four wheels... The crew over at Nimik modified the 2CV's body which is much wider than the stock Fourgonnette and now features a pair of giga-sizes vents on the sides that feed air to the mid-mounted Italian V8 powerhouse that drives the rear wheels. If you think that the end-result looks cool in the photos just wait until you see the Ferrari 2CV in action in the video below.

Karvajal Designs has been displaying its Chevrolet Corvette-altering wares for some time, and it's finally giving up the details on its line of C6 exterior and engine modifications. The ZX-1 Stage One package includes a completely redesigned body kit that widens the 'Vette's haunches to 80-inches (with all the requisite ducting and panels), along with front and rear LEDs, custom exhaust, rear diffuser and 18-inch HRE aluminum wheels.
In addition to the other ZX-1 bling (aluminum sill plates, floor mats, flat-bottom steering wheel, alcantra swathed race seats, etc.), a performance package is available that includes Baer brakes, a Pfaft coil-over suspension, anti-roll bars, full under-body aero package and – most importantly – a Magnuson supercharger tuned to produce over 600 horsepower. If that isn't enough, all of the exterior bits can be had in carbon fiber and coated in a hue of your choosing.

The power, the looks, the lust. And if that ain't enough, then how about some exclusivity, as promised by British tuning boutique 'Prindeville Prestige'? The tuning firm has released yet another special Lamborghini Murcielago that builds upon its previous modded Raging Bull model that we showed in March. On the outside, minus a few changes like the different tail lamps and the underlying air vents, Prindeville's newest Murcielago proposal features the same carbon fiber bodykit as before. The company states that with the exception of the front compartment lid, all the other factory panels, including the roof, have been replaced and restyled.
What's really different about the new 'Murcielago by Prindeville' is the supercar's interior that has been completely overhauled. The entire cabin has been upholstered in a two-tone ostrich hide while other notable features include the precision-milled aluminum accents on the dashboard and the lower part of the center console.

The new Mercedes E-Class Coupe just went on sale and BRABUS already presents an extensive tuning program for the new two-door. The pinnacle of the available performance tuning is the BRABUS 6.1 displacement engine. It has a rated power output of 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW and propels the E 500 (US: E550) to an impressive top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph). Also on offer is an aerodynamic-enhancement program that was developed in the wind tunnel. Further highlights are custom-tailored wheels up to 20 inches in diameter, sporty yet comfortable suspension solutions and exclusive interior options.
A rated power output of 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW and a peak torque of 615 Nm (453 lb-ft) at just 3,100 rpm are the result of the displacement increase of the four-valve V8 engine from 5.5 to 6.1 liters. 0 - 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph): The BRABUS 6.1 displacement engine turns the E 500 Coupe into a true high-performance automobile.
The displacement increase of the eight-cylinder engine sells for 29,000 Euros. It is facilitated by the installation of a billet crankshaft with longer stroke and larger pistons. Furthermore the four-valve cylinder heads are precision-machined and fitted with custom camshafts. The BRABUS sport exhaust system with high-performance metal catalysts also contributes to the impressive power output as do specially programmed engine electronics.

Sportiness and elegant design are not mutually exclusive - at least when the designers at ABT Sportsline are involved. "It is important to capture the character of the car and emphasise its uniqueness", says Hans-Juergen Abt, the General Manager of ABT Sportsline explaining the demands which are made on the creative department. The result is a breathtakingly beautiful cabrio, which is recognisable as a real "Allgäuer" not just due to its typical 4-pipe exhaust unit. The front with the ABT grill, which additionally accentuates the area around the headlights and fog lights, the front apron and the side sills - all give the open AS5 even more presence. The rear apron and exhaust unit perfectly suit the optics of the extraordinary vehicle. To round of the successful appearance ABT recommends the cool bold BR alloys in 19 or 20 inch respectively. The company from Allgäu of course also offers complete wheel sets with high-performance tyres.

When the iPhone was introduced in June 2007, we knew it was revolutionary. It combined a phone, MP3 player, video player, internet browser, hand-held game console, and GPS all in one device, and did it with a beautiful and slick interface. What we didn’t expect, however, is that a new batch of creative developers would create applications to turn it into much more than what it already is.
A perfect example of this an app that turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into an automotive analytics platform that can provide the same OBDII-reading functionality of high-end test equipment costing far more, and it can do it wirelessly. Simply titled “Rev,” this app costs only $40 in the app store, or you can download the limited “Lite” version for free. Check out the cool 50s-style intro video to Rev below:
