The HAMANN refining programme for the new BMW 7-series
Individualisation on the highest level
Individualisation on the highest level - this is the motto under which HAMANN presents its refining programme for the new BMW 7-series of the model range F01 and F02. Already since 1986, the Laupheim-based company develops and produces products for the individualisation of BMW automobiles. Thereby, the HAMANN technicians profit from hundreds of successful motor sports participations. The competence which was gained there is the basis for the development of new HAMANN products and renders the highest level for product quality and processing. The result: stainless steel exhaust systems with a sporty and earthy sound, aerodynamics components reducing the lifting forces and striking light alloy rims from 19 to 22 inches. Interiors perfectly fitted with leather and combined with floor-mats in matching colours as well as non-slip aluminium pedals extend the accessory range.
Already when establishing the design, HAMANN perfectly adjusts the individual components of the aerodynamic pack. The result is an exciting styling with an optimised air flow across the car silhouette. LED daytime running lights which are integrated in the new front skirt, render a sporty-dynamic look and increase the passive safety. Simultaneously, in combination with the roof spoiler and the rear spoiler, the lifting forces are reduced and give the upper class limousine a new, attractive overall appearance. The visual connection between the front and rear part are the HAMANN side skirts which are available for the model series F01. The optionally available rear shield insert for the side skirt of the model 730d and 740i allows fitting the four-pipe sport end muffler. Four round stainless steel end pipes with a diameter of 90 millimetres perfectly enhance the rear part of the 7-series BMW and produce a powerful, earthy sound.

Canadian tuner MWDesign have begun a tuning programme for the BMW M3 Coupe (E92) which they have codenamed Darth Maul, presumably from the Star Wars Episode One baddie. Currently the programme is in stage 1. For now only a few pieces of kit have been installed in Jerez Black, the colour of the exterior. For starters there is an Amuse Ericsson front bumper with custom orange highlights.
Carbon fiber side vents continue with the custom orange colour, as do the carbon fiber side mirrors. A rear diffuser made from carbon fiber rounds off the major exterior changes. The black 20-inch rims with orange-accented centre caps are wrapped in 245/30/20 front tyres and 285/25/20 rubber at the rear. Interior details are rare but we are told that Darth Maul comes with a Fox Red interior trim.
The BMW M3, of any generation, is undoubtedly one of the most tuned sports cars of our time. The current car was launched in 2007 with a 4.0-litre V8 engine replacing the old 3.2-litre straight six. Despite the 800cc gain the new engine is 15kg lighter. Maximum power was increased from 343hp (252kW) to 420hp (309kW). Stay tuned for stage 2 of Darth Maul.

- Muron” wide body kit for the entire Porsche Cayenne range
- Custom styled cockpit with Alcantara leather and carbon fiber inserts
- Multimedia system and sound system configured after a MAFF concept
- Power kit for the engine and sport exhaust tips designed by MAFF
- Retuned electronic suspensions and especially designed MAFF alloy wheels
Popularity turned the Porsche Cayenne into quite a common presence on the roads. This explains why the german model features in the portfolio of so many car tuners. Unfortunately, the big sales volume made the aftermarket industry follow in the foot steps of the stock car manufacturers. And this is because they started producing the so called exclusive, unique body kits in large series.
For all these reasons, MAFF Tuning developed the Muron project such as to offer the alternative of a truly custom interpretation of the super SUV. Thus, the Muron package represents a complex stylistic approach, which makes it more than sufficient for seriously amplifying the already powerful personality of the Cayenne.
But what really sets Muron apart from other tuners’ body kits is that MAFF proposes it as only the base on which the clients can build their fantasies. This is what actually means to offer custom services. This is what defines MAFF Tuning.

In less than a week's time, AVUS Performance has gone from unknown to tuning stardom (ok, you get our point) cranking out its third consecutive proposal. After the Audi RS6 Avant that stirred controversy over to its allegedly mistranslated name and the Audi A5 Coupe Matte Black, the latest creation to come out of the German tuning house's boutique is based on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. Featuring a 'Stage 3' engine kit, the C63 AMG's reworked 6.3-liter V8 delivers an output of 585HP and 740Nm or 545 lbs-ft of peak torque.
That's compared to the standard car's 457HP and 600Nm or 442 lbs-ft of torque. AVUS claims that along with the removal of the C63 AMG's speed limiter, the sedan can now reach a maximum speed of 320km/h or 199mph.

The Mercedes GLK in a Sportservice Lorinser outfit
Off-roaders are only suitable for terrain; compact means sacrifice and sports cars only appeal to contortionists who have no spine: once prejudices were easier and the choice of the right car was therefore complicated. Who would have thought that the Mercedes GLK would one day turn all these clichés on their head and flirt with an attractive optical package from Sportservice Lorinser?
The Swabian body kit combines all the different facets of the basic vehicle making a desirable whole. Robust, sporty and classy - these are not contradictions but the attributes of the Lorinser spoiler bumper which is kept in the colour of the car. In a classy silver look, incorporated 3D structures invoke bull bars and form an elegant transverse web, which flows around the fog lights. The triangular profile in the corners of the bumpers is also reminiscent of the off-road origin of the car. They represent the visual link between the indicated underride protection elements on the front and the rear, as well as the Lorinser side sills. In order to fully underline the bullish character of the bodywork, these add-on parts have large, quadratic incisions as a common stylistic feature.
