Vorsteiner is preparing to say goodbye to the legendary BMW M3 E92 with a very cool GTRS5 limited edition. Built in a run of just 40 units, the GTRS5 adds both an aggressive look, as well as functionality and performance to the executive car. The new tuning package is built on the heritage of the GTRS3, but has its own distinct characteristics.
Vorsteiner paid very special attention in redesigning the front end bumper covers. The front bumper is designed with additional vertical vents to allow for improved airflow, while the rear bumper cover integrated diffuser features slightly longer aero fins to assist in creating additional downforce.
Next to these new elements, the kit also includes wide arch front fenders, extended side skirts, and wide arch rear quarter panels, all made in carbon fiber. The car sits on a new set of 19" Vorsteiner VS-310 forged aluminum wheels and will be further identified thanks to a chrome trunk badge emblem and embroidered floor mats.[...]

Some people, thanks to their deep pockets, just can’t help but put new meaning to the word ’excessive’. Take the owner of this Lamborghini Aventador for example.
Sure, he already has one of the most opulent supercars on the planet, but he decided to give it an added shine, and he took it pretty literally, too. You see, this isn’t just any Aventador; this is an Aventador that has been foil-wrapped in gold chrome.
The name of the gold chrome Aventador is "Project AU79" and while we’re not too sure what the ’79’ stands for, we do know that "AU" - or Au - is the symbol of gold in the periodic table of elements.
YouTube member Vodeezz was on hand for the official unveiling of the Aventador Project AU79 so we’re tipping our hats off to him for catching this true one-of-a-kind 700-horsepower Aventador get its proverbial shine on.[...]

Lumma Design has blown us away with a preview of their next aerodynamic kit for the 2013 BMW M6, which has been turned into a widebody racing car for the road. This is actually a body kit we are talking about here, one that will fit both the regular F12 M6 and the 6-Series coupe, and the bad news is that no powertrain upgrades are available at the moment. However, once you see those twin exhausts you’re hope will be restored.<... [...]

One only has to look at the various one-off Pagani Zonda?s to know that when enough cash is on the table, consumers can almost bend car manufacturers to produce custom components and cars at their will. Of course, that doesn?t seem to be the case for Lamborghini.
A Chinese customer is reported to have approached Lamborghini to have an LP670-4 SV wing attached to his Gallardo LP560-4 but interestingly, Lamborghini refused to make the install despite decent money being on the table.
On one hand this does surprise us as installing the SV wing on a Gallardo shouldn’t be all that strenuous but on the other hand, Lamborghini clearly doesn?t like the recycle components from model to model even if it is on a customer?s request.[...]

The Pontiac Firebird was a cool sports car built between 1967 and 2002. The model saw four generations, with the most amazing version being the Trans Am - a model offered from 1969 with upgraded handling, suspension, and horsepower, as well as minor appearance modifications.
Of course, since production ended in 2002 and Pontiac has been defunct since 2010, the creative possibilities for the Firebird are seemingly endless, with none ever getting the chance to see production...ever. That, however, hasn’t stopped Circassian designer Kasim Tlibekov from coming up with the Firebird TT Black Edition Concept - a model that gives a new look to a historic sports car.
Tlibekov’s concept is based on the 1969 Firebird, but adds more aggressive styling, including a very wide body, an aggressive front splitter and front-end, new side air exhausts, and a duck tail spoiler with a massive rear diffuser. The concept was designed to be powered by a supercharged 5.8-liter V8 engine that delivers a total of 650 HP and can hit a top speed of 200 mph.[...]

German tuner Brabus has made a living out of building some of the most powerful tuning programs for Mercedes vehicles. This time, they’re taking a different route by revealing a new styling package for the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG.
The first thing you’ll notice is that Brabus veered away from the monochrome colors of the CLS63 AMG. Instead, they went with something a little more fashionable: Orange.
From there, they went ahead and pushed the envelope even further on the interior, choosing purple as the predominant color. Really, pretty much everything in the interior is in this shade, including the seats, the floor mats, and yes, even the roof. The interior also has orange stitching throughout the cabin, which Brabus probably added to have a semblance of continuity to the exterior color of the CLS63 AMG.[...]

Remember the days when car racing was "Car Racing". The rules were loosely written and even looser followed, and it was considered more entertainment than sport. Those were the good old days, when the purpose was to build a car faster than the others and hire a driver that can keep the thing on the tarmac. Those days all went away in the 1980s, as all of the major professional racing circuits ? NASCAR, Indy, F1, NHRA ? turned these entertainment spectacles into damn sporting events.
While we love our sports ? I for one am obsessed with NFL football ? the turning of driving a car fast into a sport led to the injection of fairness and parity. This led to restrictor plates, horsepower limits, and barred modifications. It even led to drivers starting to whine and boo-hoo about a little paint scraping? Well, if you are ready to see some racing in its truest form, take a look-see at the Global RallyCross Championship.[...]

Ever since the Ferrari FF was introduced over a year ago, the car hasn’t seen a whole lot of aftermarket love from some of the biggest tuners in the world. But now that Novitec Rosso has jumped into the picture with their first program for the FF, all’s well in the world again.
The comprehensive program for the Ferrari FF includes new aerodynamic components, a couple of styling modifications, and a subtle performance upgrade. Sounds about right to us.
The first order of business was the addition of new carbon fiber components. The kit includes a new front spoiler lip, a roof spoiler, a rear spoiler, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. Carbon fiber surrounds for the taillights were also added, as were matching black side markers, carbon exterior mirrors, LED rear fog lamps, a carbon fiber roof, and a radiator grille. In addition, Novitec Rosso also fitted the FF with a new set of 21" and 22" ultra-light forged wheels with an NF4 wheel design that features five double spokes and wrapped in Pirelli PZero high-performance tires.[...]

We absolutely love daredevil antics in cars and on motorcycles, given they are done safely and by professionals. The folks at Top Gear Live are just about to satisfy our craving by pulling off the first 720 on four wheels, which Top Gear has dubbed the ?Deadly 720.? The term ?720? refers to a pair of 360-degree loops in succession, so absolute perfection is required to succeed in tackling each loop.
To give you an idea of just how much precision is needed, the engineers heading up the stunt have estimated that the customized buggy that Top Gear Live is using for this stunt must enter each loop between 24 and 26 mph, 2 mph more could result in excessive G-force and result in the driver blacking out and 2 mph too low would cause the buggy to fall from the loop. To help avoid driver error, Top Gear has fitted the special stunt buggy with an accelerator lock that will hold the accelerator in a precise position to maintain the prescribed speed, so the driver can focus only on keeping the buggy on the 58-meter-long track.[...]

Using the words ?Ford Granada? and ?Cool? in the same sentence, with exception to the 1991 Granada Cosworth, is sort of an oxymoron, as there was never anything cool about it. The Mark II Granada was a compact sedan that peaked out at a lackluster 160 horsepower and bottomed out at a sub-Geo-Metro 54 horsepower. That said, there are ways to make just about any car cool, so what in the world could a few guys from the U.K. do to make this econo-box even remotely cool?
The answer to that question is easy: rip out the stock engine, get to hacking up the body a little bit, and drop 1,700-horsepower worth of engine into it. Yup, somehow these fine monstercar builders got their hands on a Koenigsegg CCX 4.7-liter V-8 with twin turbochargers and dropped it into this circa-2,800-pound body.[...]
