While we have yet to see the hottest version of the new A-Class hatchback in production guise, Mercedes-Benz has reportedly confirmed to Autocar magazine the basic details of the upcoming A45 AMG, which was previously thought to be named A25 AMG.

The A45 AMG will be the first series production AMG model with a transversely mounted engine.

The report confirms that power will come from a heavily modified version of the A250's 208hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine tuned to deliver 330hp (335PS) and "maximum torque significantly above 295lb ft (400Nm)".[...]

Icon has recently received a fair amount of press due to its legal issues with Mattel, but they are also still hot on the path of building awesome custom cars. On deck for Icon is a car that is a little bit out of their norm, which is building bad-ass off-road machines. It is a modernized version of the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Volante.

The project appears to be still in its concept phase, so all of the details are a little scarce and we have reached out to Icon for additional information. For now, we do know that this model will boast a strikingly similar body as the 1960s Aston Martin legend, but in true Icon fashion there will be loads of customization. First on the list of customizations will be to hack off the DB4?s annoying fixed head, and the signature Zagatto dual humps, but leaving the humps on the rear of the car, which you can see in the above image.[...]

We’re thinking that Azfal Kahn and his people at Kahn Design needed a little break from all the Range Rover programs they’ve been releasing for the past couple of months.

What better way to take on a fresh project than by presenting a new styling program for the Ferrari 458 Italia.

In developing the new modifications for the Italian super car, Kahn Design went for an aerodynamic body kit that features new front and rear bumper sections, both of which have been finished in a matte pearl gray finish. The program also consists of a rear diffuser, side skirts, and even a roof that also carries the same matte pearl gray paint finish. Rounding out the upgrades are a new set of 21" and 22" forged alloy wheels that come with the same - you guessed it - matte pearl gray shade. The new wheels are then complemented by new ceramic brakes and yellow brake calipers.[...]

Roush Performance’s expanding 2013 Mustang line-up now has a new member to the family: the 2013 Ford Mustang V6 RS.

Based on the 3.7-liter V6 Ford Mustang, the V6 RS has been treated to an array of styling and handling modifications that’s being called as the "Roush Six" package.

?The RS opens a new niche for Roush Performance, offering great fuel economy, a good level of power, at an economical price, while still embodying Roush?s spirit of performance,? said Gary Jurick, GM of Roush Performance.

On the outside, Roush Performance added a bevy of aerodynamic enhancements, including a new set of grilles, a front chin splitter, side rocker splitter, and a rear decklid spoiler. The program also features new "R" fender badges and an "R" Roush faux gas cap. As added options, you can also get a hood scoop, rear quarter window louvers, RS exterior side, and hood graphics. Finally, the package also comes with a new set of 19? premium painted aluminum wheels, tires with Brembo brakes, and Roush lowering springs with progressive rate jounce bumper, effectively lowering the car’s ride height and reducing its center of gravity.[...]

The customizers at Five Axis Design have teamed up with Capcom to create the 25th Anniversary Street Fighter Scion FR-S. The car was shown at the 2012 E3 in Los Angeles, sporting a design inspired by the main character of the Street Fighter world, Ryu. CDC Performance Redoes the Maserati Quattroporte from Top to BottomThe German tuners at CDC International have launched a new sub brand called CDC Performance, the first product of which is based on the Maserati Quattroporte with a comprehensive styling and performance package.

 

Even though CDC Performance makes no mention of it in its press release, as pointed out by the team over at GT Spirit, the exterior body kit is likely sourced from Japanese tuning firm Wald International (see photos below).[...]

The Audi R8 V10 has recently received an ultra-flashy tuning package, which comes from... are you ready? XXX-Performance and targets the exterior, interior and tech sides of the car. The Bilious Green exterior finish is applied on the vehicle’s stock body, which was lowered using a H&R coilover kit and G-Ride Airride system, and gifted with a set of 20-inch alloy rims (these were painted to match the color of the body) w... The thing with people who love cars and have the money to splurge on them is that if they’re not impressed with the stock model, they can go crazy with aftermarket enhancements.

Take this particular Rolls-Royce Ghost for example. Built by Polish interior specialist Carlex Design, this project called "Ghost Save the Queen" isn’t your typical interior enhancement because as Carlex Design puts it, "we are not afraid of challenges and seek original solutions, which produce stunning interior innovation and unique solutions."

With that in mind, Carlex Design backed it all up with an exterior that has been painted in a stunning Deep Green paint finish. The luxury limousine was also given a number of upgrades, including the use of luxury ostrich and kangaroo leather, the presence of a royal crown embroidered in the seats, plenty of chrome parts, and wool rugs that have a pile length of 2.5 cm.[...]
