Lamborghini Aventador Estatura GXX Limited Edition by German Special Customs

The Lamborghini Aventador has become quite the tuning attraction. For a new company like German Special Customs, the onus on building a sick program for the Aventador was important to get their name across in the industry.

To their credit, not only did they make one program for the mighty Lamborghini, they actually made two with one being the limited edition Aventador Estatura GXX.

So far, the Aventador Estatura GXX is still in the pipeline of development, but GSC did release some fresh details on the supercar’s new aerodynamic body kit. Built completely from carbon titanium, the external body kit features a bevy of new components, including a new front bumper, a new rear bumper, side skirts, an adjustable racing, a carbon titanium hood, a titanium black exhaust, and a new set of ultralight wheels.[...]

When the Bugatti Veyron was originally launched packing 987 horsepower and 922lb-ft of torque, the vast majority of the automotive industry was left awestruck over how Bugatti managed to extract that much power and torque from the mammoth W16, quad-turbocharged engine.

However, to tuning firms all across the globe, particularly in Japan, 1,000-odd horsepower means nothing as similar figures can simply be achieved using six-cylinder, or even four-cylinder engines combined with just one of two enormous turbochargers.

In fact, 1,000HP is almost considered nothing these days with various companies including the ever-reclusive Rotary Supercars and TranStar Racing both promising to deliver supercars with upwards of 3,000HP. However, neither of these cars have materialized just yet.

But in what can only be described as an outrageous tuning exercise, Steve Morris Engines recently previewed that extracting three times the power than that of a Veyron isn?t that difficult. They strapped this insane power plant in a relatively stock 1970?s Ford Mustang Mach I body.[....]

BMW M5 Hurricane RRS by G-Power

The current BMW M5 F10 already has a G-Power tuned program to its name, one where the German tuner squeezes 640 horsepower out of the German sports car.

But even if the M5 F10 is already out and about, G-Power still did something pretty sensational to the previous generation M5, calling their new program the M5 Hurricane RRS. To give the M5 some added shine, G-Power added a plethora of performance improvement components, including the company’s now famous BI-Kompressor "Sporty Drive" supercharging system. A new coil over suspension was also added, as were a new set of 20" Silverstone Diamond wheels and high-performance brakes. Ceramic brakes are also being offered as an option.[...]

2012 Moscow Tuning ShowSome may find it hard to believe but not all Russians post videos of people flashing guns as turning signals, Audi R8s drift-crashing and Land Rovers flipping over sewage covers (just to mention a few of the most recent clips).

At the end of April, the Russian capital of Moscow served as the host to one of the largest tuning shows in the country with plenty of people making use of their cameras to film the modified cars and as is universally the case with these kind of events, professional models dressed, sometimes even...undressed, to draw attention upon the cars.[...]

Audi S5 Coupe by Eibach

When Audi’s 2012 lineup was revealed, there were very little changes made to the car’s overall look. Aside from a few tweaks here and there, Audi’s main concern for the new model year S5 was the downsizing of the engine, from an eight cylinder to a 333 HP 3.0-liter V6 TFSI powerplant that produces less horsepower than its predecessor. German tuner, Eibach, didn’t have a problem with that as the V6 provided equal performance numbers to the 2011 model while also improving the car?s efficiency rating. What they did have a problem with, however, was the car’s handling, so they decided to generate more power with an optimum suspension set-up themed "Inspired by motorsport ? Performance for the road."

This new suspension system is composed of Pro-Kit Performance Springs and specially adapted mono-tube gas pressure shock absorbers from Bilstein. The best part of this new system is that it offers a slightly lowered center of gravity that makes the car look even more like the Audi A5 DTM version.[...]

Toyota GT 86 Sport FR Concept by Gazoo Racing

Noted Toyota tuner Gazoo Racing has come out with their latest tuning program for the Toyota GT 86 sports coupe. And no, we’re not all that surprised.

The concept racing sports coupe is called the Sport FR Concept. True to the Japanese tuning firm’s racing intentions, they set up the sports coupe with a slew of racing modifications, highlighted by a GRMN twin charger - it serves as a turbocharger and supercharger in one - that produces 320 horsepower and 310 lb/ft of torque.

In addition to the modified engine, the Sport FR Concept also features a new front and rear fender, a racing rear spoiler, a new GRMN dual exhaust, GRMN brake calipers and brake rotors, and a new set of alloy wheels and tires. For the interior, Gazoo Racing dressed the sports car with a back skin tone interior while also adding a new bucket seats, a four-point seat belt, a roll cage, and additional meters.[...]
