The 2007 Shelby GT500 came out with a whopping total of 500 HP, before the power output jumped up to 540 HP in the 2010 model year. Both sets of numbers are rather significant, but with the 2013 Shelby GT500 pushing 650 HP upon its arrival, customers who own a 2007-2012 GT500 may feel as though they are at a disadvantage. Well, worry no more.

Shelby Performance Parts has announced a new supercharger kit for the 5.4-liter V8 engine that can add an impressive 300 HP to the GT500. This means, the total output can be increased to an amazing 840 HP!

The new kit will replace the stock roots-type supercharger and will add a new Competition Heat Exchanger and Shelby GT500 Competition Intercooler Tank to improve cooling performance. The new Competition Heat Exchanger will keep the intake charge cool, while the Competition Intercooler Tank can be filled with ice or dry ice to further reduce intake temperatures.[...]

Wheelsandmore has done it again.

Not that we should be surprised considering the talents of these guys, but when they decided to put their German tuning talents to good use and work one of the finest Italian supercars on the planet, we have to give kudos where they are due.

The car we’re talking about is the Lamborghini Aventador and Wheelsandmore gave it quite the modification, even calling it the "Rabbioso," which apparently means ’angry’ when translated to English. Quite the description, huh?

First up on Wheelsandmore’s Rabbioso program is the car’s revamped looks, which features a new Mocha Brown paint finish, complete with a new set of 20" 6Sporz ² forged wheels wrapped in 355/25/21 Pirelli tires. The rims also carry the same mocha-brown finish and are complemented by a matte black wheel center.[...]

Japanese tuner, DuelL AG, has become synonymous with building some of the most awe-inspiring tuning programs on that side of the world. Their latest work on the MINI Coupe only adds to their already sterling reputation.

Using the MINI Coupe John Cooper Works Edition for the build, DuelL AG built a sick-looking aerodynamic kit for the German MINI that comes with a bevy of modded parts, including a louvered hood that has been set on both sides, just above the fenders. In addition, the components also include an aggressive new front bumper with fully integrated LED lights, redesigned side skirts, and a new rear diffuser.

DuelL AG opted to keep the MINI Coupe JCW’s performance numbers untouched, which means that you can expect the car’s 1.6 liter four-cylinder petrol engine to produce an impressive 208 horsepower.[...]

Inspired by its race-prepped Ferrari 458 Italias, Evolution 2 Motorsport (E2M) thought it would give the road-going model a go with the presentation of its "Emozione" tuning program.

The Ferrari 458 Italia Emozione is finished in a two-tone blue and silver paintwork and features a new front splitter, mirror caps, chrome look air duct mesh and trim, a rear spoiler, a double rear lower diffuser at the back, and custom made 21-inch alloy wheels. In addition, the engine bay is trimmed in carbon fiber.[...]

Back in 2009, racer and drifter extraordinaire Vaughn Gittin Jr. unveiled the Mustang RTR-C, a custom Mustang that came with a carbon fiber body and 550 horsepower hiding under its hood.

And now that the 2013 Ford Mustang has been unveiled, Gittin Jr. is back with the second-generation Mustang RTR. Details behind the project are still being kept tightly under wraps, but we do expect the muscle car to carry a similar design theme to the original carbon fiber-clad model.

What’s new for the 2013 Mustang RTR is that it will be made available on the Mustang V6 with an option to put a supercharger system to drive up the car’s performance credentials a few levels past the standard model. The only thing that was released were a couple of rendered photos of the 2013 Mustang RTR, which, judging by its look, is a barnburner of a project.[...]

The one-off Lamborghini Aventador J Speedster will find its lucky owner very soon. But for the rest of the world’s population that will never get to own a supercar as unique as this one, UK design house Prindiville Design has released a rendering of what they would do to the Aventador J Speedster if it was given an aftermarket conversion of sorts.

According to Prindiville, the work on the Aventador J Speedster begins with replacing the car’s original panels with something along the lines of carbon fiber. From there, the UK tuner would add a host of interior features, including dressing up the cabin in black leather and Alcantara while also adding a five-inch LCD TV screen, a DVD player, satellite navigation, and bespoke software featuring maps, setups, and telemetry.

Prindiville would also take in the task of upgrading the Aventador J’s braking system with new ceramic discs and an adjustable suspension. Finally, the UK tuner would give the Italian supercar a little electric tweaking, taking the car’s 6.5-liter V12 engine and increasing its output from the standard 700 horsepower all the way up to 805 horsepower, allowing the car to hit 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 220 mph.

Of course, all of this is only theoretical because unless the owner decides to send the Avetador J Speedster, we’ll never get to see it actually happen.[...]
