BMW Group tuning specialist Hartge has presented a new engine kit for the entry-level 116i hatchback, which in stock form, sports a 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol with TwinPower Turbo and direct injection technology delivering 134hp (136PS) at 4,400 rpm and 220Nm (162 lb-ft) from 1,350 to 4,300 rpm.

Hartge's remapped ECU helps nudge the turbocharged unit's peak output to 169 horsepower (171PS) at 4,400 and torque to 265Nm (195 lb-ft) at 2,000 rpm.[...]

Audi specialist tuners B&B have been the first to take the super diesel V6 to the max in an A6 Avant. The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Transformers Edition is already a special vehicle on its own. But for all of the muscle car’s awesomeness, O.CT Tuning has a way to turn it into something even more worthy of its special edition badge.

The Swiss tuner has just released a new performance package for the American muscle car, one that would make even Bumblebee proud. On its own, the Camaro Transformers Edition is already powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces an impressive 602 horsepower and 503 lb/ft of torque. Not content with that output, O.CT Tuning decided to add a supercharger and a new stainless steel exhaust system to the mix.

The result? An increased output of 630 horsepower and 538 lb/ft of torque for the Transformers-badged Camaro.[...]

Some people just have higher standards than others. For those people that belong in this group, you can point to a standard Mercedes SLS AMG and bemuse at the supecar’s 563-horsepower and say that it isn’t enough. Fortunately for them, there’s a tuning company like HMS Tuning that can satisfy their unquenchable thirst for speed and power.

The Malterdingen-based tuning company has taken a stock SLS AMG and given the performance upgrade it deserves. The program utilizes HMS Tuning’s Xtra Power Supercharger, an intake manifold, an uprated oil pump, an additional ECU to control boost and fueling, sports air filter, and complete exhaust system which includes 4-1 manifolds, 200 CPI Sports Cats and valve control, and a newly developed forced induction program for the Mercedes supercar’s 6.2-liter V8 engine. This intensive modification program provides the SLS AMG with a nasty 720 horsepower and 614 lb/ft of torque, up from the stock 563 horsepower and 479 lb/ft of torque.

Every so often, a tuning firm comes out of the woodwork to present a program that takes your breath away. Evolution 2 Motorsport isn’t what you’d consider a household name in the tuning world, but when they came out with the Ferrari 458 Italia Emozione, we couldn’t help but stop and take notice.

On the visual front, Evolution 2 Motorsport dressed up the Italian supercar with plenty of carbon fiber components, including a new front splitter, a rear spoiler lip, mirror shrouds, a new double rear diffuser, and engine bay surrounds on both the front and sides.
