Why do we pay so much attention to the vinyl wrap industry? Because it’s THE new thing to add to your car’s customization list. But mistake supercar wraps with the stuff you put on taxis and company cars. Oh no, you need to go to a specialist for something truly special. And in Europe, it doesn’t get much more special (repetitive, I know) than Dartz. With their projects, you always get the feeling it&rsq... [...]

We’ve seen the Range Rover Evoque’s excellent looks being ruined by lots of tuners who confused exclusivity for ugliness. But you can bet that UK tuners Kahn Design know a thing or two about custom Range Rovers, and they did an great job turning it into one of their Vesuvius SUVs. The exterior makeover obviously starts with the Vesuvius orange finish for the body, which is made to pop out more with the help of matte gr... [...]

Back in 2010, Roush unveiled a pretty impressive upgrade package for the 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 that increased the total output from the standard 412 HP to a monstrous 550 HP with more than 470 lb.-ft. of torque. It was a pretty amazing update, but the Indiana-based Brenspeed tuner decided it could get even better. The best part is that this update can also be applied to the 2013 Mustang models.
Roush’s new performance package based on the Roush TVS supercharger system develops a total output of an even more impressive 650 HP and 585 lb-f torque. In order to obtain this increase, the Brenspeed package includes a high-flow fuel rail with 47-lb fuel injectors, a twin 60mm throttle body, an air-to-water intercooler system, a low restriction air induction system, fuel system upgrade, colder spark plugs, and more.[...]

Since the Camaro ZL1’s official debut, Hennessey has been the only tuner to offer a real upgrade package for the muscle car. But now Lingenfelter is offering another cool package for the ZL1 with three different update levels: 630, 650, and 700 HP. Prices for the upgrade go up to $11,245.
Depending on the engine upgrades, the kit includes a GT9 ZR1 supercharger camshaft and Lingenfelter CNC porting & polishing of ZL1 LSA cylinder heads for optimal flow, Lingenfelter LS9 solid supercharger isolator coupling, Lingenfelter air intake duct, and all of the necessary gaskets, fluids, and bolts.
The 650 HP version just established an impressive result: it ran the quarter mile in just 11.03 seconds at 130mph. The model was equipped with a remapped ECU, an LPE custom cold air intake, a 160-degree thermostat, and a new set of wheels, size 17" up front and 18" at the rear.[...]

Last year, when Mercedes showed the new M-Class at the Frankfurt Auto Show, we expected it to become the new one spoiled child of the tuning world, and indeed it was so, with plenty of cosmetic modes for the German SUV being revealed. The latest to join the game is Lorinser, which has released a set of images of their exterior customization package fitted to a black M-Class. The 2012 model has been enhanced with the help of new bumpers, s... [...]

Last year, American tuner Vorsteiner presented a package for the Ferrari 599 called the "599-VX." Fast forward to today and they’ve come out with a new program for the mighty Italian supercar, only this time they chose to name it the "599-VX Coupe."
While not as audacious as their previous program, the 599-VX Coupe still features a host of new aerodynamic improvements, including the extensive use of carbon fiber on the entire body kit, shaving off 70% of the weight that the replaced stock components would have otherwise carried.
For the kit, Vorsteiner is offering a new font bumper fascia, an integrated chin spoiler, a new bonnet with carbon fiber vents, side sill extension blades, and a rear bumper fascia with an integrated rear diffuser. Rounding out the program is a stainless steel race exhaust system with brushed tips and a new set of 1-piece forged Monoblock wheels that Vorsteiner specifically made for the Ferrari 599.[...]

Everybody who’s ever battled the hordes of Zombies when the deadly virus finally hit will tell you the best tactic is to use a narrow choke and a high caliber gun to destroy them, because small arms are a waste of ammunition. That’s why you need the M2 Browning machinegun, which uses the very best .50 BMG cartridge, which was actually the perfect match for this gun. So, when the end of the world arrives on December 21... It’s no secret that German tuners ABT Sportsline have customized the new Volkswagen Beetle, as they’ve already shown a custom exterior shell at the Geneva Motor Show, together with a bunch of other Audis and VWs. But today we get to find out what’s under that skirt... sorry, bonnet. The most powerful engine available to the 21st century Bug is of course a 2.0-liter turbo. But this hasn’t got enough ... [...]

One of the most impressive tuning packages Vorsteiner has unveiled in the past few weeks is the Ferrari 599-VX, but their next package may give the first a run for its money. The tuner has announced the first details on a new upgrade kit time based on the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. The move was made in order to appease the masses until the future Cabrera, which is currently under development, comes out.
Vorsteiner began the transformation with a series of exterior changes, with a collection of lightweight pre-preg carbon fiber aerodynamics and performance accessories arriving later this fall. The current upgrade includes a new set of wheels and the ability to choose between a collection of 1-piece and 3-piece forged wheels codenamed VS-110 and VS-310 series. These wheels are specifically designed for the Gallardo applications and can be custom painted or powder coated to the client’s preferred finish and specifications.[...]
