We’ve said this countless times on these pages, but it’s still worth repeating: we love it when a car is dressed in a matte black paint finish.
Even more so if the car in question comes with the kind of fantastic styling exhibited by the new 2012 BMW 650i Coupe. And so, like a prayer from the heavens, one of our favorite tuners decided to dress up the top-of-the-line 6-Series in matte black - to go with other styling enhancements - before giving a nickname befitting its new look: Shadow Walker.
To enhance the stylish two-tone exterior of the Shadow Walker, SR Auto Group combined the gloss black faces on the sports saloon with matte black inserts, resulting in a look that can only be described by our open-eyed stuttering upon seeing the photos of the car. SR Auto Group rounded out the exterior upheaval with a new set of 20" bespoke Niche wheels, further adding a beyond ridiculous, stealthy black look to the 650i Coupe.[...]

The Nissan GT-R was officially unveiled back in 2008 and since then, the car has seen numerous updates. The original model came with a 485 HP V6 engine which was then updated to 530 before finally getting to 550 HP. These are certainly impressive numbers, but engines can always see an added boost thanks to tuners willing to put in some extra time. Mcchip-dkr and CoverEFX have developed a very impressive package for the Nissan GT-R that increases the total output to 596 HP and 553 lb-ft. of torque.
In order to obtain the extra 46 HP, the tuners installed a new sports exhaust system and optimized the power software. Next to these updates, CoverEFX also added a a spectacular racing-style film-coating to match the dynamic body of the GT-R. The foil combines Cardinal Red, Raven Black, and Pina Colada White. The GT-R’s ride height was also lowered by 30 millimeters thanks to new lowering springs from H&R.[...]

Didn’t we just feature a BMW M3 that was tuned by the boys over at European Auto Source?
Jump back a few weeks to the middle of March 2012 and you’ll see a similar BMW M3 that was treated to a comprehensive tuning program from VF Engineering and EAS. But while that particular M3 - billed as "Orange Fever" - sported a stealthy matte black carbon fiber look, this M3 is dressed with a custom Matte Estoril Blue Paint finish by C&C Collision. Fancy color notwithstanding, the M3 also gets an aerodynamic kit from Vorsteiner that includes a carbon fiber GTS3 front bumper, a carbon fiber aero boot lid, an aero rear diffuser, and a carbon fiber roof. Matte black kidney grilles and fender gills are also part of the exterior program, as are the carbon fiber mirror caps and the new set of 19" 360 Forged Spec 5 Wheels with Brembo TG BBK brakes.
Under the hood, European Auto Source provided the M3 with a VF620 Supercharger System with its own Vortech V3Si Compressor and 6.0-7.0psi manifold boost pressure, shooting the sedan’s overall output to an impressive 700 horsepower, around 80 more ponies than the Orange Fever M3.[...]

Last year, the guys at Mansory ‘visited’ the engine bay of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo with impressive results. With the help of a pair of new turbo, a stainless steel sport exhaust and an ECU remap, the power and torque of the 4.8-liter engine have been boosted significantly, and now it can play with the big boys, thanks to 690 hp. Despite the fact that none of the luxury has been lost, the Ma... [...]

Just when you thought that tuning programs for the BMW 1-Series M Coupe had died down, Tuningwerk comes out of the woodwork to present one, which they have affectionately called the 1M RS.
With the intention of creating a street-legal race car from the 1-Series M Coupe, the German tuner decided to shave off any excess weight from the stock model. That involved replacing a number of body panels on the car with carbon fiber, including the hood, the boot lid, the GT4 front lip spoiler, the rear wing, and yes, even the Recaro bucket seats. All carbon fiber, all the time. Moving on to the wheels, Tuningwerk fitted the 1M RS with a new set of 19" forged ATS superlight wheels wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx high-performance tires.
For the engine, Tuningwerk pretty much injected the 1M Coupe’s 3.0-liter turbocharged engine with enough upgrades to significantly increase the car’s output. The German tuner modified the turbochargers and the cooling system, installed a custom exhaust system, and remapped the car’s ECU unit, all of which were done to give the 1M RS an output of 514 horsepower and 453 lb/ft of torque and a top speed of 186 mph. If you think those aren’t significant, you only need to look at the stock model’s 335-horsepower and 332 lb/ft of torque numbers to realize how ridiculous the power upgrade is.[...]

From the company that gave us the Lamborghini Aventador Molto Veloce comes another awesome tuning program, only this time, it’s for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo SUV.
With their impressive line-up of tuning programs, it’s no surprise that DMC Tuning has established a reputation as one of the best tuners in the world, and their newest program for the Cayenne called the Terra 650 only builds a stronger case to their already stellar reputation.
Based on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the Terra 650 will make its debut at the 2012 Top Marques Monaco, where it’s prepared to wow the crowd with its new aerodynamic body kit to go with a massive engine upgrade that shoots up the SUV’s output from 500 horsepower to 650 horsepower.[...]

Charlotte, North Carolina is a hotbed for NASCAR racing so it only seems fair to say that the folks over there know a thing or two about cars. That being said, we are not in the least bit surprised that one of the finest European tuners in America come from Charlotte in the form of GMP Performance. For their latest project, the boys over at GMP took the task of building a fancy program for no less than the Bentley Continental GT.
Thanks to some help from Hamann and ADV.1 Wheels, GMP Performance successfully tricked out the British luxury sports coupe to pretty intense levels. The first order of business was importing the wide-body kit from Germany while also fitting in various new components, including a new front bumper, flared extensions on the fenders, new side skirts, a new rear wing, and a matte charcoal gray finish that was lifted from the Lamborgini Reventon. On top of the exterior enhancements, GMP Performance also fitted the Continental GT with a new set of 22" ADV.1 alloy wheels, which comes with brushed gunmetal centers and matte black lips & inner barrels.[...]

German tuner Hamann seems to have brought at least two cars to Top Marques Monaco this year, as their tuned SLS AMG Roadster is also out and about. If you don’t believe us, just check out this bad boy prancing its wide backside around the famous city, looking all overstated and brash. It doesn’t even have proper license plate numbers, instead offering the tuners badging. This carbon fiber bod... [...]
